We all wear masks, metaphorically speaking. Some wear their mask to hide their true identity, some their true intentions. But the question is, which one is the mask... the mask itself or the person's face?
have spent years honing and training my skills, until I was strong enough to drive out my predecessor and earned the title of Grand Master of my Order. I have negotiated countless houses and organization merges with the Seth'ari, an ancient order which has existed since the time of Sep Tepy, and is now under my command.
My goal and the Seth'ari's goal is the elimination of Conformity of the Vampire/Vampyre Community with the Public, and the Outside World. The disbanding of the Black Veil and the Collapse of the dogmatic pillars of this era's Vampire/Vampyre Houses, and Organizations is our Primary Goal. In the views of the Seth'ari, these organizations have become stagnant and weak by conforming to the public eye. We shouldn't have to change who we truly are just so that the outside world will accept us.
The Pillars, (which only exists in the East Coast of North America) was "built" only within the last decade or so.
Most of the Pillars are about Conformity... Conformity to the Public Eye and the Outside world. I do not believe in such conformity.
The "vampire/vampyre houses" of this era have made Conformities just to please the outside world to unbelievable degrees. The Black Veil is an example of such. It speaks of community, but it clearly says that we must "behave" ourselves in public. I don't believe that we should have to make such sacrifices of the self, just so that others will like us better. We are what we are, Vampires/Vampyres, no matter how you spell it. Our nature is predatorial, dark, mysterious, alluring, erotic, and yes... even deadly. I've known certain indivuduals who have gone through, what the public would call extremes and murder, just to express their nature.
The Outside worlds business is their own and Our Kinds business is our own. We shouldn't have to please anyone just to fit in and be who we are...
I believe we must be who we are meant to be... not what someone else wants us to be.
