~A Leaf Let Go

As a leaf on the wind
untethered in the night, unnoticed,
black is deeper here
and nothing to bump against,
so how to imagine my way forward.

I am the dream the tree remembers,
living right and full,
cleverly disguised as belonging
so that in my loosing I was found
through the land kin.

By whatever name
and the sweetness of let go
to speak the stretch
of old mother skin, tree or bird-song
though others demand silence;
I am a foundling,
ever when angels whisper what I strain to hear.

I like expressing life and feelings through poetry

My hands touch the darkness, while invoking the light, calling on powers of both day and night, I call upon the lightening that's appearing in the sky!

The thunderous powers
feel the wrath of her heart,
Black clouds move in synch
within reach of the powers of the art.
The voltage between hands,
sparks send up a flash,
Strength builds from inside myself
with each Thunder crash.

Black clouds arise
and curse those who wish me harm,
Take their watching eyes and bigotry
into the dark fire.

The earth feels the heat
uprising fire fills the skies,
Then there is silence
in the depths of her eyes.

Poem wrote a while back that I'm sharing again:

I walk alone. I am always at war, as the light and dark of me collide! I'm not much of a day person, I prefer the night. Don't look through the keyhole of my past because disturbing thoughts may enter your mind. You never know what you may find. Such horrid scenes. Maybe even the spooky! It would be even too much to tell. Things that would wake you up to many things you never believed in. My past, It's dark, no one knows what it's like to be me, no one could even Imagine even if I told them about my past scars. I will never fit in and nor do I want to. I will not be controlled, pushed aside, baited, bribed,I am everything you are afraid to be, I am everything you could never consider. I choose not to live like you all. I am wild, unattainable, unthinkable! I could only be poison to you after breaking silent nights with words kept secret! Opening your mind to the knowledge that was possibly never in your thoughts! The possibilities of things that you never knew could possibly exist!
