Most of the trades have been sent. Waiting for my Coven members to be accepted, to whereever they specificed they wanted to go.



I wish them luck and for them to spread their wings and see where they can fly. They know I will always be there for them.



As for the profile help page, there will be a day or so....where it doesn't work, as I get set up at the House of Umbrae Octo. Give it time, it will be back.



It had to be done. I wasn't being effective anymore but I know I made some difference in these people lives, if just to be there and listen.



So, the Guardians will close their doors, as soon as everyone is placed. It may come back, it may not. Only time will tell.

This Health bill...Wow, the smart intelligent people in Washington DC have solved the problem of having health insurance. The bill states.....It is now mandatory for everyone to have health insurance, if you don't, you will be fined for not having insurance. WTF!!!!!!!



Most of us are scrambling to be able to scrap money together to eat and you expect us to pay for a insurance policy that we can't afford, or you will fine us? That's just crazy.



Life is going to get a lot tougher folks. Believe you me.

As most of you know, I will be closing my doors soon. I have had multiple offers from different covens, opening their doors to my coven members. I even had an offer from Jens, who offered to hold all of my favors, for when and if I decide to return and reopen the Guardians of Darkness. Thanks hon.



But I think that the Coven that takes the cake, is Vampire Masquerade. The Mistress contacted me and every member of my coven, hoping to gain some members and some favors. (as this was the second question she asked me when we started chatting). I told her several times, that the choice is up to my Coven Members. Until I hear from them, where they want to go, they go nowhere.



I recently got a note from her and this is what it said:

I go to her coven page and find part of the note, that is at the bottom of my Main page....on her page. Claiming protection of the teens. The places in bold are taken from the very bottom of my Main page, in the note, of why we are won't be in an alliance.

We have decided to not have any other Covens or House join Our ALLIANCE.



That only OUR Current Members that may make Sire and want to start a coven and be in Alliance with us.That is the only way another Coven may join our Alliance and also under the supervision of US.



Here is the reason why:

OUR KIDS



I and my Alliance Coven have many kids. I will not call them naive, but they are still in the Stage of Trusting and they trust US. ( the 2 Coven Masters)





Myself and My Alliance Master are both parents and we also have our own family / kids here and this is one of the reason we choose not to put them in harms way, in any shape or form that is an uncomfortable situation.



If someone approaches one of my members and makes him or her uncomfortable, even if they didn't mean too, We would approach this someone and they would deny any wrong doing, we are sure of that.



We would warn them not to be doing whatever it is they may have done to make them (kids) be uncomfortable. If it continued even if it is another / different [Kid ] member then the Master or Mistress would get involved as to what has happened etc.





So, this is our decision, I have nothing against any of the other Houses or Covens, I am not labeling everyone a preditor of children. We just have to look out for the best interest of the kids and we decided, this is for the best interest of them. Not to put them in the position where they could get hurt.



Please understand, its not personal but we take the protection of our Children seriously





I think that her taking this, without my permission is a low blow. Someone attempting to be something that they are not. There are several other covens that actually advertise that they will take all ages and some of them are below.

I know that there are many others out there, but these are the ones that I know of. I was not the only one that took in teens on this site. I never claimed to be. My coven was strictly for teens, created for teens. That was the difference.



I'm sure that there will be many Covens scrambling to take the place of my coven, I truly don't care, as long as the kids are safe. But do it on your own merit, do it with your own words.



Sorry Vampire Masquerade, the only members that had told me that they wanted to come to you, are adults. There are no teens coming your way. I have been told by one adult that she will not be coming, due to this and I will talk to the other. If i can help it, you will get no members and no favors. I only deal with honorable people.

March 4th, was our Anniversary. LordV, being his usual sneaky self, planned a weekend away. He made the arrangements for the hotel and for Silverbow to take care of Maddie. All I was told, is to pack warm clothes, in layers.



Friday Morning, we began our trip. We dropped off Maddie and off we went. We arrived at Port Townsend, a little town, that sprang from the military Forts in the area. Originally named in 1792, it was expected to become the largest port on the West Coast. Instead it has become and continues to be, the US Navy's primary munitions handling dock on the Pacific coast.



We stayed at the Palace Hotel, built in 1889. It was the home of Captain Tibbal, a retired sea captain. Between the years of 1925 to 1933, the upper two floors of the home was affectionately named, "the Palace of Sweets," a brothel and hotel.



Each of the rooms in the hotel, has a placard on its door, named for the "lady" that worked in that room. We had Miss Rose's room, although I was tickled at finding Miss Mona's room too lol.



Only drawback to the beautiful room and turn of the century building, is no elevators. To get to our room, we took 2 different stairways, 30 steps each. The best thing of the room, was the bathroom. The jacuzzi tub, was deep enough and long enough, that LordV, 6'3", could soak in the tub comfortably. We could also cuddle in the tub comfortably. :)



We went to dinner the first night and found a little hole in the wall restaurant, that advertised live music. Menu was sparse and the food was ok. My dream of a nice romantic night was dashed when the live music, turned out to be a group of guys singing what they termed "Irish Sea Shanty's". In truth, they were polka songs. lol.



I didn't mind. Its an adventure. Its something to make the vacation memorable.



We went to Fort Worden, the local fort that guarded the waterway. It is not a state park. We walked on their beach and took some amazing pictures and simply relaxed and enjoyed each other's company.



Here are some of the pictures. Its a beautiful city. I can't wait to go back someday and take some more pictures.

This call is to the Houses and Covens, that are interested in a new members. Most of my members, are over 18, they have been with me since the beginning. Please feel free to look over my members and send a message to them. This will be their choice, not mine.







LordVlkodlak - He has been my ACM since the beginning. He is a man from the days of old, holding honor and integrity in high regard. He is a fair main, protective and extremely intelligent. He was my detail master, in charge of all the coven pages. Check his portfolio, for some of his creations that can be seen throughout VR. He hasn't decided where he wishes to go, but will keep an open mind, until he makes a decision.



CelestiaNocturne - she has been my ACM for more than a year. She is a very caring and empathic soul. She has been approached by one coven, but if you like her, send her a message. She is a single mom, a working EMT and going to school.



Kashka - She is one of my teens that have been with us, since the beginning. She is 17 at this time, but with a maturity beyond her years. She is very caring and strives to be a good friend. She is currently a dominar and was my own Forum master. She has also been asked to a coven, but is probably open to other offers, that might suit her better.



Contessa - She has been a great asset to the Guardians of Darkness but insists on flying home to the House of Umbrae Octo.



Defeated1 - He is the youngest of the Guardians, one of my forum masters and has discussed his options with his mother. He will be heading to the Coven of Peaceful Insanity.



VampVixen695 - Hasn't been on in several months.



Khornesone - He is one of two military men, within my Coven Walls. Husband to Silverbow, Father to Wolfbite and a good friend of both myself and LordV. He is currently home from deployment. Its up to him, where he wishes to go, feel free to message him.



NartinaLeMaliki - She is a quick and lively soul, that enjoys chatting in Japanese and making her drawings come to life. She is the creator of the current Coven Crest. She has been asked to join the Coven of Cognitive Fabrication.



Kage - He is one of my Coven Knights. He is a great guy but currently doesn't have a lot of time online.



Wolfbite - Another one of my younger members. She is a sweet girl, fun to chat with and a tad boy crazy. :) Her mother is Silverbow and her father is Khornesone. If you wish to have her in your Coven, you need to discuss it with them first.



Angel - Long time member of VampireRave. She has limited time online but when she is on, she is a delight in the forums. She has decided to go with the Coven of Vampire Masquerade, when we disband.



VampyreMP - The second of the military men in my coven. He is home from deployment and looking for a new home, here on VampireRave. Please feel free to contact him.
