I just watched War of the Worlds (again), the new version with Tom Cruise. I know he comes in for a lot of stick but I do like him, maybe it's because he's a shorty too. lol

For me the one thing that I found wanting to hear was this track from the musical version... this track is so haunting and pushes my memory buttons yet again. I think Justin Hayward to be a great artist, genius even.

I just watched the film version of The Phantom of The Opera.

Although nowhere near as good as the stage performance it did stir memories. Here’s one of the many songs from that great show. The lyrics to this song remind me of life in general, even if you don't listen to the song please give some time to just read the lyrics. Enjoy.

I have a love for music and ‘feel good films’. So finding myself with a bit of ‘me’ time the other night I noticed an old film was to be shown, ‘old’?!! well by my standard.

It was one of those films that I would see being advertised but just never fancied it. On this particular night I was bored of sitting at the pc and this film was all that was showing.

I cracked open a tin of Cadburys Roses chocs (unopened since Xmas) snuggled up on my sofa, and watched this ‘film’.

What a delight. A good film, a good night.
