Years pass as loved ones turn to dust. Literally and metaphorically. The one secure tangible steadfast is the memory will never turn to dust no matter the length or real or perceived amount of time since the departure from the living realm.
Many of us here are members of Facebook, where we are constantly reminded of memories on this day a year ago or ten years ago. Sometimes the memoriy(irs) are amazing and other times were left with grief and sadness. Self questioning our self worth, our role we should or could have played, and if our actions were appropriate prior to, during or post.
In reality, it’s too late to reevaluate - nothing you do now will change what happened a year ago or six months ago. Take a deep breath, sit down and calm yourself down. Run through some affirmations to center yourself and remind yourself you are the best you can be and all yourself to accept your past mistakes as they were and to build better behaviors moving foward to handle such situations as well as action plans to ensure such mistakes do happen with the sole statement “I Got This.”
Morale - yes bad happens, unfortunately social media reminds us constantly, don’t berate yourself, stop, pause and make the mistakes learning tools to become the most bestest self you can me.
