There is a tiredness in the soul that has seen too much, felt too much. It is such a soul tiredness that it permeates the very bones of the person. The mind becomes foggy, making thinking and concentration difficult; it feels as if there are soggy cotton balls in there soaking up all abilities.
Where does it come from? How does it exist? Where is the line between just enough and too much? How do we know when we cross the line into exhaustion?
Our bodies can rest and heal. Our minds can empty and relax. But how do we heal our soul? It is not as if we can rest it, empty it, or give it a vacation.
If you are reading this, what rejuvenates your soul?
