Dear **** and ****,
I'm writing to you with my desperate plea for warehouse space. As you know, the **** Center is very small. We have had to turn away much-needed food for our community because we do not have the space to receive delivery nor the space to store it. I am still haunted by the organization who wanted to donate frozen chickens to us, but we had to be able to receive a whole truckload. I have only 3 upright freezers and within our building, there is no space to remedy that. I had to say no to meat that would have been a blessing to families who are struggling with emergency need. I'm still hoping that we may be able to find a walk-in freezer that we can place outside on the property and secure. But right now, I can't even receive truckloads of non-perishable goods like canned food. I have called K**** D***' office and E**** P****'s, hoping that they may know of a warehouse space in the community that we might be able to use. They both responded, but didn't have a location for us. We have sent out word to 20 local churches, hoping someone would know someone...but so far, we haven't received any word. We are devoted to trying to match local people in need with food, but we need someone or maybe a business to help us. We are able to provide a letter of donation for tax purposes.
Is there any way that this need might be featured so that the community has the opportunity to help us? My sincerest thanks to you.

I hope this works out... Maybe you should start digging tunnels under ground and store stuff there. And in your cheeks!
If only we were like chipmunks :(
You would think that someone in your area would have something. Anything.
A building supply store? Home Depot? Someone looking for good press that could spare some space....
...I wish I had a solution...
I really am praying hard for some good news from all this. I'm sure any business person will seize this oppurtunity to get their company in the papers over Xmas and be willing to help. As I said, I am praying hard for you.
I can only hope that your desperate plea does not go ignored. I don't know what it would cost or who might have access to one but large semi-trucks often utilize refrigerated trailers. Maybe a local trucking company could help.
Are there any closed down supermarkets around there. Ones that have stood empty for a while? They should have large fridge & freezer cases just sitting empty and the owner could get the tax break for letting you all use them. (crosses fingers for you)
Thanks all! I'm updating what happened the last hour I was at work.
Not the frozen food but the can goods... I don't see why a moving company could not help you. *wish I was there* How about a storage POD, or .... people's garage, basements? Hate to say no idea about the frozen food but the stores, ice company?
Darn it... I really hope this worked out.

Well, if you look at it a certain way it makes sense. Just really bad sense
