I turned down a job interview after realizing it's not full time, and you don't get paid unless they decide to deploy you. You only get 24 hours notice before deployment. My contract for my current job will likely end in May. Will I regret this decision- turning down the interview? Is guaranteed pay asking too much these days?
I saw another job opening today, and I'm stressing out putting together the application, because I REALLY want it. Which in my world means, not likely to happen. To date, my track record of landing jobs I actually interview for isn't great. For most my jobs, you just have to have any college degree and know someone who knows someone who knows someone else...
I'll do anything not to have to beg for my old job; I finally quit in February. After a 2 month leave following my surgery, my boss called me, and I quit. In the nicest way possible- nothing dramatic. My coworkers were nice enough, but I don't miss my aching feet and being micromanaged to point of perfection. I actually miss my boss, though. I suppose begging wouldn't be so bad, if my other employment options run out? Or maybe I can open my own pop-up vegan bakery food/meal service? I don't even know where to start.
I bought this bustier corset cat top for Halloween. I'm thinking of doing Catwomen, Missandei from Game of Thrones, and a witch. 3 days of Halloween! Why not?
