I just saw all the messages about how people have been losing their saved messages and my heart really goes out to them...



I didn't lose any of mine at all - actually it might have been a blessing. I just looked and there are 822 - yes that is NOT a typo - 822!!! saved messages there.



I think I have more work to do than rating the VR database again.



I think I better clean out the saved messages PRONTO!



Does anyone want any of mine? lol

So my poor boyfriend has been complaining about a bad tooth ever since I met him last year.



Turns out the damn thing was abscessed the whole time and on his birthday no less, he spent the day in terrible pain and at the dentist. (This was last Thursday, August 16). No cake, no fun - just a few presents and then later on that night at like 1:30 am I took him to the emergency dentist as the abscess started to create a rash that was moving down his throat onto his chest! They didn't do much for him but give him some antibiotics.



So there he was all weekend suffering and in severe pain with a swollen face and an ulcer starting in his mouth. Poor kitty! It is horrible to see someone you love in such pain and know there is nothing you can do for them.



This morning at like 5 am he woke me up with the taxi waiting outside and said he was on his way to the emergency room. I went promptly back to sleep and when I got up at nine remembered that he had left...I was quite worried and got a text message from him at 11 saying that he was being admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery today. I got there as quickly as I could and waited with him and his mum and grandmother until it was time for him to get prepped and then we went to the coffee shop to wait for the surgery to be over. They are lovely women and it was nice to get to meet them finally.



I finally got home around 8:30. His surgery was successful and he is now able to sleep which he hasn't been able to do in almost a week. The poor fella!



On the plus side - he did get the call from Global Santa Fe on his birthday that they had hired him for the off-shore job so he starts his induction next Tuesday for three days and then goes offshore shortly after that. We will have money and a car! I am very glad for him and am SO GLAD that he is finally out of pain and I will get to have my sweet Leo kitty back again.



What a day!

Man have I been busy lately here on VR.



First, I won the first Tatsu award for earning over 10000 favor in our coven which is a HUGE honor to me.



Then I wiped my profile by accident and had to totally recreate it as I had lost my 'code' sheet I think when my laptop fried over Christmas...



but most importantly - I have been cleaning out our coven of inactive members. I am not caring HOW much favor they have or what their status is or their position in the coven hierarchy. If they can't at least participate once in a whille or earn some favor - they are GONE.



I feel bad in some ways doing this but on the other hand I am getting tired of seeing only a handful of people active in our forum and earning favor. It just isn't fair to those of us that do try.



I am sure I am not the only ACM that has come across this problem and won't be the last...
