I'm finishing up Season One and here's what I've learned:
-Charlie is a moron.
-Trousseau used to be D'len on Babylon 5.
-Said (??) is my favorite character.
-The wheelchair guy from Oz is my least favorite character.
-I still don't trust Locke.
-Sun looks great in a bikini
-90% of the people on the island seem to have blue eyes
Mysteries of the Island:
-After being on a deserted island for months, Hugo hasn't lost any weight.
-When are Kate and Jack going to bump uglies?
-How'd the ship get into the middle of the jungle.
-When do you think they'll get around to eating the dog?
Favorite "Oh, SHIT!" moment:
-When Art blows himself up with dynamite while pontificating about how dangerous it is. "Dude...he just....blew up."
Funniest Moment:
-Hugo on the Little Rascle in the airport
Season 2 comes out in November....no fair!
There are times...well, as of the last couple of years most of the time...that I truly despise my job
People I care for are hurting and I can't support them or communicate with them because I'm halfway across the world.
Because of this I feel insufficient. Ineffective. Less than I should be.
...is a stone cold bitch. What goes around truly does come around.
Justice is served, and today is a good day.

For a while I've been wondering what all the hype is about LOST. I'd never seen an episode. So, before I left for this trip I picked up Season 1.
After three episodes, sadly, I'm hooked.
I don't trust Mr. Locke.
Or the Iraqi guy. He's too much of a "good guy."
At this point, I really don't see how this has been going on for almost 3 seasons. There must be something to it.
Edit: Ok, Locke is cool for now. But I've got my eye on him. But Jack is chasing his zombie father around through the jungle....freaky deaky. And Merry (or Pippin I forget) is a junky! Too funny!
