Things are pretty fucked up right now...I am ready to scream and go bat-shit crazy...the only upside is that I have an interview tomorrow...If I don't get a job soon, I will be homeless; the EDD here has decided on not extending anymore benefits to me...after they said that they would in a letter I received two months ago...this is just rich.
Ooooh fuck - the company is a scam...glad I figured it out before wasting my time...what a damned shame...
Here I am, here on VR and I have a crush on someone here...this is so not what I'm suppose to be concentrating on. I barely even know the dude...I should concentrate on finding that job, paying off bills, getting the fuckin' IRS off of my back, and getting well from this wierd stomach ailment that has caused me to lose 30 lbs since January. The normal, common-sense Momo should be back shortly...I hope. I don't need to add insanity to my list of problems.
I voted yesterday and was walking back home, enjoying the weather. A woman pulled up next to me, to ask for directions. I told her where she needed to go, and she thanked me, saying "You have a really great smile!"
I laughed and thanked her. Her comment got me thinking: It was a beautiful day, so it put me in a good mood; with all of the negative crap going on in my life right now, smiling is a rarity.
I have to keep reminding myself that things will get better...

It can't rain every day....
True, birra...and I rather like the rain.
It's just me having problems dealing with life right now. I just want to kick my own ass, as I usually consider myself a strong person...eh - maybe not.
It takes a lot of work from the face to let out a smile, but just think what good smiling can bring to the most important muscle of the body... the heart. ~Author Unknown
I don't subscribe to any 'lifestyle' but I know that as far as my personality goes and how I am overall, I ain't no sub. For those who are - no disrespect. I'm a more dominant personality.
...I like when a guy has nice-lookin' feet. I have a lil' foot fetish.
If a guy is so-so in the looks department, but is tall and is a braniac - sexy.
Well okay - you can spank me, but that's it, as far as being dominated. (Hell - spanking is fun for everybody).
Guys look kinda' cool when they're all tied up - sometimes with a gag in their mouth. Sometimes, I don't want to hear them yappin'...but when I do, I like a nice deep sexy voice.
Damn - I'm pretty mundane, now that I look over this. Oh well.
I had originally planned on starting a thread in the Sandbox regarding films - good or bad - that are disturbing and/or thought-provoking. I figured that it probably wouldn't get much play, so I decided to get this stuff down in my journal instead.
Here we go:
Caligula - Sex, violence, and sexual violence. One twisted film.
The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover - Beautiful visuals, like the elaborate table settings and the high fashion; not so lovely images, including offal-covered naked people in a carcassed-filled garbage truck. Do not snack on popcorn - or any other snack - while watching this film. As a matter of fact, after viewing this, you may not want to eat for a day or two.
Osama - A tue-life story about a girl who has to disguise herself as a boy in order to survive in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. If you aren't crying halfway through this film, you have no soul.
The Tin Drum - The kid in this WWII drama creeped me out more than the Nazis did.
Requiem For A Dream - If this total gross-out film doesn't help the 'Just Say No' campaign, I don't know what will.
Baxter - This little French gem about an evil bull terrier starts off as a very funny black comedy - then just ends up black, with a very disturbing ending.
There were two short films that I saw in high school which still haunt me to this day:
The Lottery - Violent old-time religion meets modern day small-town America. After seeing this, kids throwing rocks to break windows really ain't so bad.
Rapuccini's Daughter - What loving father transforms his own daughter into a poisonous femme fatale?
Speaking of high school - are they still showing Red Asphalt to kids in drivers' ed class? This film really messed with my head - 'Bloody Asphalt' is one of the reasons why I do not drive to this day.
These guys are fun to watch/listen to. I'm still trying to find any other vids they may have (I only have one - an October journal entry here).

My friend Carrie just dropped off a small box of Church's Chicken...I rarely eat 'fast food' - tonight was an exception. I usually have nice table manners...not tonight. My ass was starvin'.

You still have the letter? Send them a copy explaining your situation...Can they stop your benefits?
Wankers are making me mad just thinking about it, they're the same here as well. Goodluck

Well, fortunately, I'll continue to get the unemployment benefits - through the Feds now, instead of the state. I still need and would rather be working though!!!
