I've only know what this once since maybe April of this year, though now as I look back I can tell its been happening for longer. All of them there are "kiva", which are "holes" or "portals" to different planes/worlds, however you wish to put it. this one has been driving me crazy, considering I've gone through variations of it for almost seven years, and my friend, VampireGirl69, has had the same dream too, and we've both known each other for, again, almost seven years.
Names changed.
'Ari, what's wrong?' asked Alexis, looking at me over the table that the two of us, my mom, and a group of boys I didn't recognize sat at.
We were in a restaurant on Hooper Road in Endicott that served both Italian and Chinese food.
The restaurant was in the Ames plaza, though, Ames had long been out of business. Alamonte's, an Italian restaurant, was still there, as was the Giant food store. There were also two specialist rock shops.
The rock shops and the Chinese/Italian restaurant I knew didn't exist.
'Nothings wrong. Why?' I asked, looking up from my bourbon chicken, then back down at the food.
She just shook her head, and after we were finished we walked outside, and my mother led us into one of the rock shops.
We browsed for a while, and I began examining several two-foot high rose quartz crystals, found the price, and nearly yelped - $115.53.
I grumbled, then walked over to the rings after I looked at the over-priced fluorite crystals, and spotted a gorgeous silver ring with a fat, oval shaped Chinese jade set in it.
The band was engraved with a diamond-back rattlesnake pattern, and the jade was set into two silver diamond shaped pieces of silver - one on top of the other, so eight points were showing.
I eyed the ring for a while, but followed everyone out of the shop and to the other rock shop, which had the exact same layout as the other, the only difference being that the two-foot high rose quartz crystals were on the top of a "bookcase" and cost $111.00.
I saw the same ring again while the others were browsing.
'Mom,' I called, looking over at my mom who was examining a crystal cluster shaped into a hummingbird, and I motioned at the ring, 'Will you get this for me? Its only $8.55."
"Sure." said my mom, getting out her money.
We grabbed the ring and walked over to the clerk of the store, who could have been the twin of the other clerk in the other store - both were Indian and looked exactly like each other.
The man seemed happy to be rid of the ring, but was giving me weird looks, just like his duplicate had been eyeing me warily.
We walked out of the store and split up. Alexis went with the boys, and me and my mom started trying to find our car.
The weather had gone through quite the change in the half an hour we had been in the rock shop. It had been clear and very sunny, but now it was cloudy and dark and the wind was blowing hard.
'Where's our car?' asked my mom looking around, then looking at me, since I was taller.
'I don't see it.' I said finally.
'What?!' yelped my mom, 'You mean someone stole it?!'
'No.' I replied, wincing, 'I just don't- There it is.'
We got in the car, pulled out of the parking lot, and began making our way to my dad's workplace, so we could pick him up.
He got in the car as I began trying to get my new ring off of its display so I could wear it, and I finally succeed as we pull into the parking lot of Vestal Public Library.
Dad says he's going to stay in the car, so me and my mom go into the library and get on the Internet for two hours, not finding anything interesting other than e-mail.
The sky was steadily looking worse and worse.
'Ladies and gentlemen, the library is closing early, due to the weather. Please log off and check out your things.' a female librarian said as she walked into the room that held the switches for the lights.
My mother and I get off, and start heading outside, but I got distracted by a display of rocks in the hall, but my mother dragged me outside into the rain and then into the car. It was now three o' clock.
We began heading home, and I examined the jade on my ring, noticing that it now looked like it had swirling, cloudy depths, but I passed it as a trick of the light.
We pulled in the driveway, and I saw Alexis and the boys I still didn't know on our front porch. and our dead maple tree was laying across the driveway.
We got out of the car, and my mother asked Alexis, the boys and I to go cover up the tomatoes in the garden to protect them from the storm.
So, joking about things, we all went out to the garden with the stuff we needed, and twenty feet away from the garden, I stopped abruptly as I got a shooting pain through my head, and suddenly I saw a man who looked like he could play a pirate standing at the edge of the garden doing exactly what we were about to do!
The man was about six foot four, and wore clothes that were basically torn rags, and his hair and facial hair went down to his knees. His eyes were colorless.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightening split the air, and struck the man, and the man suddenly turned to embers, and for a moment his skeleton was visible, then he was dust.
I suddenly gasped in air, realizing I hadn't been breathing and then I opened my eyes and sat up to stop the others from shaking. I guess I had passed-out.
'Did-' I started.
'Did you see that?!" gawked Alexis, 'That guy got hit by lightening!'
'Yeah...' I said, standing up with the help of two of the boys.
We walked warily over to the still-visible pile of dust, and screamed as a the man, now a ghost-like figure, sped out of the pile of dust, and passed us, laughing like a maniac.
One of the boys yelled something, but the only word I caught was 'ghost'.
The 'ghost' was now sitting in a wreath of twigs, leaves and dirt, reminding me of Taz from the Loony Toons, except for the fact that there was a silver sickle sticking out from the bottom of the pile, and looked like it had Sanskrit inscriptions engraved on it.
The 'ghost' swooped at us, and caught one of the boys in the shoulder with the sickle, and the boy turned to embers, to skeleton to dust.
The 'ghost' chased the remaining boys, Alexis and myself around for a few more minutes - to the house, the creek and back several times - yelling for us to take him to the entrance of ' the Cavern of Lost Souls' , which he claimed was on my property! In the process he managed to gouge my shoulder, but I didn't die, unlike the other boy who had gotten nicked.
'I don't know what the bloody hell you're talking about!!' I yelled over my shoulder, and he killed two more of the boys - both died in the same way as the first had.
We ran back towards the house again, and suddenly the 'ghost' appeared on the deck of my house, just a few feet in front of us.
'You can't fool me so easily, mortals!!!' yelled the 'ghost', and suddenly hoards of skeletal warriors manifested out of the back of my house!
We ran back towards the creek - Alexis, the three remaining boys and myself - and the skeleton warriors were gaining on us, and the 'ghost' hiding behind a mound in the backyard,
'Keep running!' yelled one of the boys, 'Get to the mound!'
We barely reached the mound, and the boy who had yelled died before we got to it.
The 'ghost' looked at me, startled, as I dove and tumbled over the mound, stayed to the ground and covered my head.
He looked back around in time to get trampled by his own warriors.
Sticks leaves and dirt went flying everywhere, and I scurried back as the sickle went flying into the air, and then I had to spread my legs, and the sickle landed right between my knees.
The rather solid 'ghost' stood up with an indignant look on his face, and began dusting himself off in the same manner an annoyed aristocrat would.
I noticed suddenly that he didn't look as old as he had before, and he most certainly didn't look as emaciated. His hair and facial hair were shorter, but still colorless, as were his eyes.
Alexis, the two remaining boys and I all warily stood, eyeing the 'ghost' as he glared at us indignantly, and I just glared right back.
'Take me to the Cavern!' he demanded, grabbing me around the throat and lifting me off the ground, and I noticed he now looked about twenty-five opposed to his seventies or older.
'What Cavern?!' I yelled back, trying to pry his fingers off of my neck, and he set me back on the ground, but still had his hand around my throat.
Alexis just looked from one to the other, looking like she was thinking - hard.
'Take me to the Cavern and I'll grant you a marvelous gift.' whispered the 'ghost' more calmly in a voice low enough the other couldn't hear, and his face grew closer to mine, 'I'll grant you immortality.'
This startled me, and me began trying to sweet-talk me, and he was now just holding me close, whispering in my ear, and kissing my neck lightly.
He still had one of his hands at my neck, but he wasn't strangling me, just stroking my skin lightly.
He was still growing less and less emaciated, and his facial hair was now non-existent, and the rest of his hair was shoulder-length.
'I think I know where it is.' said Alexis, looking up, and I noticed the 'ghost' had a knife.
We all just stared at her.
'Show me!' demanded the 'ghost', putting the knife away, wrapping an arm around my waist, but holding me in front of him.
Alexis started walking towards the creek, and went down the bank into the half-calf deep water, and started walking West - downstream, towards the 'rapids'.
Alexis groaned as she saw two piles of rock over two giant holes in the creek, and she began moving the rocks from the one I had never fallen into, and the remaining two bys began to help.
Suddenly, Alexis' foot went through the ground, and she fell into the hole, revealing one of the two holes.
There was a splish-thud as she hit ground.
'I found it!" called Alexis, looking up, and I saw she was standing knee-deep in water.
The 'ghost' pushed me in, and I landed on my backside in a large, watery cavern lit by unseen light.
The 'ghost' jumped in after pushing then two boys in, and landed squarely on his feet, and I saw he now looked like he was in his lower twenties.
He grabbed me by the arm and hauled me up, and ordered us all to start walking.
We walked for a long time until we came out of the cave into starlit mountains.
On one mountain that stood encircled by all the others, was a mansion/castle of tan-ish-orange stucco that was a bright contrast with the black stone of the mountains.
The mansion was shaped of rectangular towers and walls, square wings and a garden in a courtyard with a fountain.
There had once been rope and plank bridges leading to the mansion, but the had long since deteriorated. Somehow though, we were suddenly standing in the courtyard and I saw hundreds of rose bushes.
The 'ghost' had stopped aging a few minutes before, and now looked eighteen. His hair was now electric blue and his eyes were bright orange.
He shoved me lightly away from him, and walked a few steps towards the mansion, which I somehow knew was his house.
'We'll...just be leaving.' said Alexis and we all began backing away.
'No. You're not.' said the 'ghost', and suddenly we found ourselves frozen in place, and the 'ghost' turned around, his eyes finding and locking onto mine.
His voice was now deep, smooth, powerful and seductive, although somehow soft.
'Wha... Why not?' I asked, startled.
'Because you have something of mine.' he replied, walking over to me, and taking hold of my right hand, which was the one that bore the ring, "more than one thing, actually. And I want them back.'
He began lightly kissing my hand, his lips moving up my arm as he drew me closer.
Before any of us could say anything, he pulled me completely against him, and kissed me softly and sweetly on the lips, then led us all into the mansion, my hand still being held captive.
He led us into a large room with some sort of ancient, stone machinery and motioned at a pewter dial that had a foot ring around it that was bare, but the other five feet were painted red, with a black Aries symbol in the center of it.
Suddenly, I found myself chained to it, and as the 'ghost' led the others out of the room, he flipped a lever, and I screamed as pain shot through my head, then the rest of my body.
For the few second I was conscious, I saw hoard blue-white souls flying around the room, the I fell unconscious.

Later, I woke up to come face-to-face with a miniature tyrannosaurus rex. I yelped, went to move back, and noticed that
1) I wasn't shackled anymore
2) I was now wearing a very puffy, layered and pretty black skirt, a black Jacquard corset shirt, and a black choker/collar made out of some unidentifiable material inlaid with star rubies.
And to top all that off, the 'ghost' was sitting behind me with one arm around my waist, the other wrapped around my shoulders, and he had me pulled up against his chest and I lay between his legs.
'Shssh.' he whispered soothingly, bringing a finger underneath my chin and turning my head to look at him, and he kissed me again, and I didn't even find myself trying to get away form him, in fact, I just relaxed against him.
I noticed I was in his room and we were both laying on his bed.
Suddenly Alexis and the others walked in, followed by more miniature dinosaurs.
'Ari!' yelled Alexis, staring at the 'ghost' and myself, 'Snap-out of it!'
'You're words are useless.' said the 'ghost', my master, looking at Alexis and the boys triumphantly, 'She belongs to me, isn't that right, my princess?' He kissed me again, this time his tongue slipping into my mouth.
After this part, I only remember fragments...
