Some years passed with the once-Edward in dispose. All the while the other Edward has been well at work and fully taking advantage of the new arrangement. There were so many indulgences he was denied, for so long, he hardly knew where to begin at first. We won't go into all that now, we need something to write in the future after all.



The clarity granted by his victory over the tyrant of his youth was strange to him and thoroughly satisfying. No more did he feel the recoils of the other when his thoughts churned on subjects that were once unthinkable. The freedom of mind and singularity of being were exhilarating and intoxicating, all at once. He resolved to never let that feeling go. Unfortunately, the euphoria was short lived. He so adored that state, coveted actually. He regarded it as his trophy of triumph over the other and lost glory is no glory at all. He did find it again, but this time through herbs, powders and liquids that came in cellophane bags, on blotter paper, encapsulated in pills or stoppered in glass bottles. However, in the reclaiming of the euphoric he lost his clarity and singularity. Any former user can tell you, if they are able to admit it, that such substances of addiction take on their own persona when mixed with an addict. They cause you to become someone else, or even lose yourself entirely. Their effect on the now-Icarus was no different. He hated and resented it, but he simply could not let go of glory... or what he identified as glory. He would rather die than lose it again and given time, he would have gotten his way.

Welcome to our journal friends and fiends. Some are both... and you know who you are. lol



What we intend for this section is to explore, explain and elaborate through the telling of stories both past and current. First off we'll be finishing what we have started in our profile. There is more to tell, but it was getting a bit long so we have decided to continue and eventually finish here.
