Lately I have simply been overwhelmed and lost to the world of work. Finding time to much of anything has become a tricky task. Still I have found time to get lost within my own mind and thoughts of random.
Recently after speaking with a friend, I began thinking how much others tend to be deceiving in their words and actions. More often than not, our souls need to feel wanted. We crave the need for another to want us in the way that we think we give back.
I know I personally ache for someone that simply craves to be with me.. that wishes to share our lives for all that its worth. To experience the boundless possibilities and live in a world of personal delights.
However, sometimes we forget to pay attention. In our quest to find unrequited bliss we forget to listen closely to the words expressed by the one we crave. We forget to ask our questions, and listen to our own soul’s defense mechanics. It’s important whether it be in life or online to listen closely. To pay attention to the words that are used, and understand their full meaning.
If enough attention is paid then the truth shall always shine through. The inconsistencies of their words will blaze in all their glories and will have allowed you a chance to protect yourself. Unfortunately, in this world today there are many that wish harm upon our souls. There are so many looking for the next best thing, or to live in a world of fantasy. The fact of the matter is, though the fantasy life does sound appealing, it is never sustainable. One must see the reality for all that its worth and understand there is no other way to live.
Blessed be is the soul with the ability to listen close enough to see the untruths from other souls… even more blessed is the soul with the ability to shine a light on those that wish harm so that others may see as well~
I write.. it is quite simply what I do.
I never know what may come or when it may come, but when it does I let the words flow thick and heavy hoping that they drench every living soul they come in contact with. I suppose my hopes is that perhaps my words can help heal a broken heart.. mend a tattered relationship or even better.. save a lost soul.
I have been doing quite a bit of thinking as of lately. The thoughts of the beauty that has been graciously returned to me through words. Knowing that I am loved for what lies within me is all I have ever really wanted.. what I needed.
I am going to hold onto some of the words shared by some people as I protect them greatly. I fear that if I share them, they will be lost forever and that is something I could never face. I need those words.. that love in order to feel complete.
What I will share are the words from a dear friend over the past Yule. She gave me the most sparkly pair of earrings I think I have ever seen. They were in the shape of a crescent moon that had a star hanging from the tip. She also gave me something else along with it.. but that is irrelevant. What matters most was the words she gave me. She said,
"I don't know why, as I'm not entirely sure these are your style, but these earrings spoke to me. I figured I'd take a page from your book and get them for you. Do whatever you feel is right w/them. Besides, I think you hung the moon & stars anyway. I'm honored to have your friendship."
Now I ask you.. how anyone deserves this kind of beauty is beyond comprehension, but for these words and the others shared with me continually I give back a million more. I offer out my bleeding heart in hopes that it will be accepted and appreciated as I so am grateful for the love given back.
Blessed is the soul with the ability to be appreciated by a precious few.. Even more blessed is the soul that feels and sends back the love completely~
Sometimes it is that random feelings pull me in different directions. There is nothing more I can do with them but place them into my writings..
January is the first month of the year in the Gregorian calendar. On average, it is the coldest month in the Northern Hemisphere and the warmest month in the Southern Hemisphere. January is named after the Roman god Janus, the god of doorways. Janus is typically depicted with two faces, so he could see both what was behind him and what was in front of him. The side that faced the past was shown as mature and bearded, whereas the side that faced the future was youthful and full of hope. Janus's name came from the Latin word for door, ianua, and so January is the doorway into the new year. January is a quiet month after all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. For those who follow the Wheel of the Year, it falls between Yule, when we celebrate the slow return of the light, and Imbolc, when we anticipate the first stirrings of spring,. For many, it is a long, dark, cold month, but one that allows us to turn our focus inward and to prepare for the journey that is the year to come. Like Janus, may we turn our faces forward with hope and youthful enthusiasm.
