Samhain (Sow-inn, also goes by the name Halloween by the Christian community. This is our time of endings and beginnings, so many Pagans celebrate the New Year at Samhain. This is a quieter time, a time when the veil between the physical and spiritual world is at its thinnest and spirits may pass between more readily. At Mabon, the God Lugh died in order for us to live through His abundance. During the intervening time, He has gathered the spirits of those that have died over the year and waits for the night so that they may pass through the gate to the other side. This is the time to revere our ancestors and to say farewell to those that have passed this last year. The abundance of the fields now gives way to the power and strength of the Horned God of the Hunt. This begins a time of darkness, when the land begins its slumber and from now until Yule, the days grow shorter and darker. Winter storms begin to sweep down from the north. The time when the earth rests is begun at Samhain. We celebrate the year passed and the year to come. We light bonfires and perform rituals to honor those that have gone before. A sacrifice of bread and wine is offered to the Gods as thanks for Their guidance throughout the passed year and in advance for the year to come.

I finally figured out how to program my drum machine.... so now I can head into the Recording Studio when I have the money. :D

It's comments like these that show the some people believe that their opinions have some influence on total strangers..... although I have no idea why.



What do these people expect......



That the person they criticize, will say "Thank you stranger.... Although I don't know who you are.... I will follow your advice, because obviously you know more about my life than I do."



The arrogence the some people have!

I love poker, especially Texas Hold'em.



And after several months of delays....



I finally got a game together with friends to play some poker.



The game just finished.... and I came in second place!



I played extremely well, and won $100!



I love this game!

Eight days to relax and like my mind clear......



The Chaos in my life is easier to deal with, and I'm ready to start fresh in my life again.



It's amazing what a week off can do for a guy.



All the shit, that's been bothering me......



All the crap in my life, doesn't seem so bad anymore.



Viva la holiday!

I finally found my clarity!!!!!



After several months of chaos and disorder over everything in my life..... I have found peace.



It is true.... I just needed to get away, and recharge my battery and my sanity.



This vacation helped me find my center......



And of course, my first taste of frustration comes from the New York Rangers....



Why do I have to be a Ranger fan? :(



Oh well.... at least I'm not at the edge anymore.

Mother Nature has struck again.......



The Rain has killed the day's plans, along with the evening's.....



And yet.... I don't mind..... it's been a good vacation so far, dispite a few fuck-ups along the way.....



So a little rain won't hurt me... :)

In the downside.... the band promoting job has gone bust.....



The club booker I was working with, is not reliable, and I don't want to screw the bands I'm working with. I had to cancel the show I was planning, and sever my connections to the club.



Oh well.... it was fun while it lasted. :/

Just had a relaxing pleasant day of peace and quiet..... something I needed.



I have to do major thinking how my life is going, and there is no better time then now.

Been away from a PC for a bit, so I'll do three entries for the price of one.....



Day 3.....



Drove to Miami to visit with Deity, DarkneesBound, and Black Mumba...... aka the Vendictive Vixens!



Go to Miami in record time: 3hrs 15min.... thank goddess for a lead foot! :)



I met with Deity first, and went to find Mumba at work..... then we talked for hours about everything under the (ahem) sun. lol



Day 4.....



I did the tourist thing and went to the Hard Rock. I got buzzed and ate one of the best burgers I've had in months. After, I met up with Deity, Mumba, and the infamous DB! (Love ya, Hun!) they took to a couple of Cemetaries that were Haunted.....



The first one was dead (excuse the pun), but the next was "occupied" by a nasty ghost..... we decided to get the hell out of there, as Mumba was being "invited" to join them, and Deity and DB were being attacked by something. I agreed, so we bugged out of there in a hurry....



We hung out some more, and then called it a night.



Day 5....



Drove back to my Folks place.... another record drive time.... 3hrs 5min. :) I had the need, the need for speed!!!!!



I'm now catching up on my E-mails and such...... I missed being on-line..... I think the addiction to VR is taking over me...... LOL
