She yells and yells
They only yell back
No one is listening
Life and plans all of track
She takes the razor
Hesitating as it touches the wrist
Cool metal against warm skin
Fingers, nails painted black, ball into a fist
A silent curse as the cut is made
The pain stops as regret begins
Tears as blood runs
No prayers for this sin
She simply sits
watching the blood come
Half-wishing someone would find her
Before the bleeding is done
She tastes the blood
It's warm, metalic and sweet
She tastes a drop more
Craving the liquid treat
She pulls away from the blood
The word "vampire" comes to mind
she turns to the window
sensing someone from behind
Looking in the window
His face is white
The boy of her dreams
Scared from the bloody sight
He climbs in from the night
Dressed in black from head to toe
Taking her razor to the trash
Asking "Why?" he needs to know
She crys as she explains
He holds and tells her "I love you"
He does and always will
She whispers "I love you too"
She sleeps in his arms
Feeling safe and relieved
He holds her tight
She was worst then he believed
He picks her up of her lap
Putting her in her bed
Watching her angelic face
Thinking of what he said
He loves her
Sure as night
Her parents and her
Always in a fight
She sleeps soundly
No sadness in her dreams
He's wide awake
Imagining her screams
He writes her a letter
Explaining why he had to go
That she needs to stop cutting
Her parents are not her foe
Out her window he slides
Back into the dark of night
Down the large oak
And out of sight
(Not completely finished)
