The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Welcome to what is to be my inaugural entry. This is just a short one for a bit of explanation. As I can't yet afford the Premium membership, I am unable to customize the sections.



To that end, I thought I would list here my own uses for each of them, in order to help avoid confusion.



To that end;

Personal Entries will remain as listed.



Story Entries will be used to contain some of my shorter works, as well as entries containing info about the works I am trying to sell.



Poetry Entries will contain blogs, but from the perspective of characters within my writing setting. Sort of a look into their daily lives, and as an introduction to facets of the setting.



I don't yet have an idea on how I plan to use the Potion and Spell Entries, so those will likely remain empty for the time being.





Now for a brief bit about my writing, and the setting I am working to create. I started writing in school, though that was only for English assignments. I didn't truly begin to write until late in 2007.



I was spending a lot of time in a chat room, mostly just reveling in the flirtations among my female friends, and screwing around. I literally just sat down one day and wrote an erotic, 1-scene short story about a werewolf and a woman.



Then I began to pass it around to the friends on chat, pretty much to anyone that requested a copy. Imagine my surprise when it was a resounding success, and everyone told me as much.



Since then I've only written maybe a dozen other items. My personality is something of a roller coaster, with a lot of my traits lending me mood swings and emotions that can cripple my writing spark when present.



I have not sought any remedy for this, because I belief it's a part of me, and to take away those facets would in turn take away my writing.



Now to my setting. For years I've been planning to create a fantasy setting, to rival that of some of the big names, like Dragonlance or Forgotten Realms.



It's only been more recently that my outlook has changed, so that instead of a strictly fantasy setting, I was thinking more of the erotic fantasy/romance setting.



And even more hesitantly to use the real world as my playground in these matters. I've always been a little leery about creating a setting where I had to use real places, or even made up places located on planet Earth.



Anyways, in the past week or so, I sat down to write out a history of things, as they truly happened, rather than how humans perceived it to happen. The goal is to embed the supernatural world within that of our own.



With any luck, I will soon start doing short blog entries, maybe a couple paragraphs each, set from the PoV of characters living within my setting, and how they perceive things.



Some of these entries will be a teaser or look into the races, or the new realms hidden to humans.
