The Mask

20:59 Apr 24 2007
Times Read: 591

there is always two sides to every coin. the first side, heads, is the mask that we all see. the mask that hides the other side, tails. at first the mask has no real purpose or meaning but to hide the other, to hide the puppet master that pulls at the strings of the mask. but as time goes on, the mask begins to take a more definative shape and role. people see the mask and most grow to like it, other grow to love it, and still some grow to hate it, but all the while the puppet master of the mask begins to lose control of it as the struggle begins to grow into an all out war. Soon the mask begins to take control of it's own destiny while the flip side begins to retreat into the darkness. Soon the mask begins to bask in it's freedom, aall the while the tails side of the coin begins to take its own shape. The tails side, all the bottled emotions, the fears, doubts, anger and sorrow, ALL of it begins to take its own definition.

The mask later begins to create and form different things around it, things it can hold on to with peace, joy, and happiness. It begins to create a world of sorts around it that give it great happiness. But within an instant the balance of power is shifted as the tails shatters all but the very existance of the mask, then slowly fading back into the shadows, its horrid laugh tormenting the mask for times to come.
