The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Hiya. So it's easy to criticize things, we all do it including me. But on the web everyone complains all the time, again me too, so no one really listens or remembers. Trolls and haters are so common that it becomes the norm and no one pays attention. So rather than explain the things I DON'T like about the site, and there are some, here are a couple of things that keep me coming back. Why is this site so awesome? Here's why.



THE SOCIAL. Yes the main thing this site gets right is it is a real social network. On other goth sites no one really talks to you and I seem to just get lost in the crowd. On vr I've made several real friends (including one very good one, hint hint) and in general people seem to want to talk. I don't know why this site has people who want to talk but they seem to congregate here. There's no point to a goth social network if you never meet anyone. I don't make a new friend everyday, but I find VR is like an actual rave with lots of people who want to flirt, chat and in general tolerate. It's ironic that a goth site has more friendly and tolerant people than the "real" social networks. lol Think about it, you're more likely to make a friend here! lol sad



TOLERANCE Yes as I said VR won't judge you. There is an unofficial "anything goes" policy and I think that's good, considering most of us are adults. Also the people are tolerant. You won't find anyone calling you nerd or freak here because that's the point of the site. But even normies are welcome and I like that. VR is a haven of sorts for the goth and normal alike. Sure there are trolls but not many. lol It's counterintuitve that a "dark" site has nicer people but it does. Maybe the darkside produces more maturity, could be.



There are a couple big things I hate about VR but I probably won't post about them. As I said detractors are many and over all the site rocks so I'll leave it at that.-M
