So this is a funny work story for ya.
I work at the local ShopRite, internet department, so I'm running around with a palm pilot doing other peoples shopping (lazy bastards). Tonight was really slow, the store was practically empty by 8. There is one girl I work with who restocks shelves and tidies up aisles who is from French speaking part of Africa or Europe (whichever) who I am friendly to, she's a sweet girl.
The store is currently being reconstructed, so everything is a mess and out of the aisles, therefore I was out looking for a hair dye on a rack in the middle of the floor. Next to these racks, is a display of depends as well as other brands of elderly diapers.
This girl is passing by, and like I normally do I give her a big smile and say 'hello.' She returns the expression before a quizzical look crosses her face and asks me if she could ask me a question. She steers me two feet away to the Depends...
Girl: Um... do you use these for blood...?
Me: Oh, heh, no... those are for old people who can't get to the bathroom in time...
I then proceeded to take her to the feminine care products, handing her a package of extra thick Maxi Pads and telling her this is what she wants to use (I figured I'd better give her pads rather than tampons, the last thing I want is to have to explain how to use them!).
This girl looks to be about 15 or 16, so I'm really wondering how she doesn't know what to use. It just baffles me, really.
But that is my interesting, slightly funny story of the day. I did my good deed. :)

From what I can see from your Avatar it suits you.
I guess it feels strange to feel your hair that short when you were used to have it long.
I felt the same way when I had my hair so long, then suddenly it was medium length.
