This is a story I started ages ago, but due to VR I have been inspired to continue. Please enjoy as I post a new chapter every day.

In this world, known as Earth, many myths and legends exist. Theories that cannot be proven by science but by that of the human faith. Many believe in the Heaven’s above, and the fiery pits of Hell below. They believe in God and Satan. They believe that the powers that be see everything in black and white, good and bad. That the place to be is in Heaven. Many dismiss these aspects of life as false, but what they do not know is that most of this is true, and so is this story.
Centuries ago, before the split of the three worlds, the children of God and the children of Satan lived together in peace, a perfect balance of good and evil. The prince, eldest son of the devil, was great friends with God’s eldest daughter. The two had known each other from their births, which were within hours of each other. Immediately after their births, the two shared everything and a very special bond formed between the two. Often they would finish each others sentences and know exactly what the other was thinking or feeling the moment they saw them.
However, on the day that marked their thirteenth birthdays, a war erupted in the prosperous kingdom. In a matter of a minute, the marketplace erupted in yelling, screams, and cries. The two friends were rushed out by their fathers and taken to separate rooms. They waited in silence, thinking of the other and wondering what was wrong that they had to be taken away like that. Once the two sides were restrained, Lucifer and the Lord met for on last time to say goodbye in the worst way: an abusive verbal spar. The two families split, creating the kingdoms of Heaven and Hell. Between them, on the same plane, was Earth.
The children were taught and drilled by their fathers that the others kind was wrong. That the war was the others fault. That they never meant anything but amusement to the other. God’s and Lucifer’s children were not to mingle, and if caught the wrong-doer’s sentences would be death. Execution, to be exact. They’d have to kill each other. The human world was their only sanctuary.
Aubrey, Lucifer’s son, grew weary of everyday torture and the sounds of demise. He grew up, having souls thrown to him to rip apart over and over again. He knew what the future held in Hell, because he could see it. He did not, however, know the human world. He did not know the blood of a living being. He did not know the ear-shattering silence of night. Curiosity was his middle name, and he was always looking for new experiences.
Alexa, God’s daughter, let her appearance radiate with her personality: fair, light, sweet, beautiful. She loved the light coloring of her home, the sweet music that played in the air, how the stars always shined just bright enough. She loved every single soul who entered her fathers kingdom. She had a special place in her heart for all those she met, but still her boredom of Heaven grew stronger, as did her thirst for experience.
The two long-lost best friends, the vampire prince and the angelic princess, forgot each other after mourning. After years of separation and hatred between the two kingdoms. Through countless lessons from their fathers. It was not until their sixteenth birthday when they both went to the human world did both their worlds collide once again.
