It has been a month now ... since I have stopped using disposable plastic utensils/straws. I got myself a stainless steel straw, chopsticks, fork and spoon ... to use at the office. Since I always buy food to eat at my desk, I thought it would be great to have a set at my desk.

So my boss thinks I can disseminate the new ministry circular to all the relevant departments ... finish my payment ageing report ... investigate a patient complaint and come with a decanting workflow ... within 4 hours!
And of cos I didn't disappoint. Her expectations have to be met ... Always!
But after that ... I had a splitting headache for the rest of the day.
... and once they are pass the knees ... the dance routine starts! You do the crab movement to get them up your thighs. Then you need to wiggle wiggle to get them over the hump. Finally you take a deep breath to button up!

So Diwali is coming ... and the preparations has started. We sent all the deities and prayer things for gold plating. So the altar is kind of bare and it makes me uncomfortable.
Soon we will start with the deep cleaning of the house. I have such a love hate relationship with cleaning. Love ... because I always find all my lost earrings during the cleaning. Hate ... simply because I hate chores.
Many things to come ... many ... which I will be sharing with my VR family of cos. Muaks

So while standing at the traffic junction ... I noticed an advertisement printed/painted on a taxi ... it said "Affordable Affair".

Bewildered ... I spent the next few days googling .... discussing with friends about what in the world it meant .... and why in the world it was a public advertisment.

That would have been funny for 'Twitlight' ending. I admit I watched the first movie. Worse two hours of my life. I did not watch the other one's. I think it was geared at teenage girls. That explains a lot.
Even if I had an artistic bone anywhere in my body I would still find it appreciable!

Having loved ones/close friends who know you is important. But having loved ones/close friends who know how to 'handle' you in situations is more important.
I was having a tough time at work yesterday and was not in the best mood. I had to call me friend during work to vent it out. That call was exactly what I needed.
He knew he had calm me down first because I was so upset and wasnt able to think. He said some things to lighten situation ... to stop me from getting upset any further. Then when I had calmed down, he said some things to make me think what I should do to handle the situation better. Without feeding me advice.
And it worked! I was no longer upset and managed to work my way around the problem.
Sometimes you don't need people to agree or disagree with you. You just need people to handle you at your worst. That is the type of positive people you need to surround yourself with.
I love it. It took me a moment, Lili had to point it out to me but take no offense please. Last night I log in and think my own kismet is some other guys kismet because I have fever from cold going around here and I forgot my own avatar picture. HaHa. Can you do a screen shot of it straight on? After Halloween I told Lili I want to put it on my profile. I really like how you did my name. :) I am honored. You are so amazing and I am grateful to call you a close Sister. Lili and me are thankful to have you in our lifes. Lili had CT done and Friday she sees doctor for results. I hold my breath for results.
I am glad you both like. I was doodling during lunch and I also using a pen ... so it is not perfect. But I like how it turned out. It is abstract ... it is supposed to be a heart ... the shape didnt turn out clear but you can still see it.

That is how I would like to look like when I am sleeping ... I am very sure I look the total opposite ... drooling all over .... mouth wide open .... eyes rolled back ... sprawled ... lol not a pretty picture :p
I like this guy! Zoo keeper ... Zoology teacher ... Environmentalist! Doing his part to bring awareness to the world. Just not a pretty face! Someone who contributes to the world ... nature.
Since it was my day off, I decided to go jogging a little early than usual. Such a mistake! So while I was jogging along the trail ... I had to pass this group of drunk men. I avoided eye contact ... kept my distance ... did everything I could to avoid them. And of cos it didnt work. I could hear them making rude remarks even though I had my earphones on. I took a different route back home so that I dont have to pass by them on my way back.
Even though it is a busy exercise trail and there were alot of people there ... I still felt uneasy and unsafe. Tomorrow I need to find a different place to jog. Such a bother ugh!
You should try finding a jogging buddy and never ever jog alone. These days that is so dangerous. Also, get a can of maze and loud whistler. Even on trails that are busy it is just not safe for women to jog alone.
Hun D is right if these drank men are usualy there you should find a jogging boddy or try to jog elsewhere and try not to do that at night or in silent places
Yeah ... you guys are right ... it is dangerous. I am a night jogger since I do it after work. I need to find a better place. Or one of thoss whistle thingies ...
