((Sad to say, but I don't think many (if anyone) will understand the direct point of this one until I explain it (which in and of itself, will come later)...))
Now, this is no place for those faint of heart,
Nor is it a safe place for life to restart.
And I refuse to be another statistical show;
If you want to live in a world that you don't want to know,
I will make you hear Me, when I call like a Crow!
This world curses each who now survives,
Everything you manage, damnation arrives
To take away and give nothing back,
Ever against the survivor the odds will stack!
Malice is a moniker worn 'round the throat,
When your Devil shows up a forked-tongued goat;
Yet you believe every word he says,
Did it ever register that it's you who pays--
The price of fame and fortune,
You have to claw your way just to reach the bottom,
And now, it's time to fall from the top,
Wretched as the trench of fire,
Listen as the mandolin tune
Plays the song that weighs a hundred tons
Crushes everything that you work to build,
And sears the brink of it all when it's built e'en higher!
Take the word of those who know,
Life here cannot sustain a blow
When all it is is a plague unleashed
Upon itself, to the depths beseech-ed!
Destitution is all they know,
All their lives and weakest go
To the rivers filled with snow!
Fame and fortune is all they show,
But no one knows until the flow
Crashes down like a shattered dome!
You come, believing the lies still told,
And you wonder why a survivor's cold;
Songs of hope are left in ruin,
Lives destroyed with a Hellish tune!
We fight to-day, to live in peace,
But no more can we, piece by piece,
We live to leave behind the Hell,
Deceptively placed by the songs' empty shell!
