Walking through the darkness
I feel my thirst grow
To feast upon that redness
The blood that flows
The taste,so sweet
It makes me strong
For my fangs and neck to meet
this, indeed my pleasure
As I begin to walk
I see someone
Could this be the prey I stalk?
I cannot wait to feed
I appear to her from the shadows
She looks to me with keen eyes
Not knowing I shall impose
To have that sweet taste
I look into her eyes
I see a heart, a love
Is feeding wise?
But my thirst, I must
She looks at me
She sees what I am
"Thirsty my love, drink tis free"
She says with a smile
I take her into my arms
Sinking into her neck
No signs of alarms
Brave is she
Knowing what is to come
I pull away
Tears fall down my face
"I cannot do it this way,
Not to you
I know how you feel
I know how you love me
Let these wounds heal"
She stands there looking
I begin to walk away
Back to the darkness I go
Just walking away
I must forget......
