I look under the weeping willow and see my two pals.

Way in the back of the house out through the kitchen door, passing through the mudroom where a Pheasants hang from the day's hunt ready to be cleaned and roasted.
Something for Dinner. Running out on the back porch, called the concrete in this part of the country, I look under the weeping willow and see my two pals. Both wolves, ears perk up, eyes sparkle. Ready to follow me into the wild woods, to run, to play, and to hunt. Off we go down a pile of stones to a trail that leads to the country road. On an adventure with my to best pals, I walk a mile down the country road to an old dirt road. Branches make a green tunnel to pass through. Along tumbled down stone walls. This road leads to a 4h camp beside a great pond. Lots of fish and snappers in it. Great for swimming in during a hot summer afternoon. My pals run around the tangled wood on the other side of the tumble to the stone wall. I whistle and they peek at me over the wall. On I walk. Down to the dam at the end of the pond. Water spills over it in what looks like a sheet passing over the concrete drop. The river starts as a babbling brook that makes its way down to Wire Village, Where it turns into a roaring river because of the gorge and rocks, creating the rapids.
Under a bridge, it goes. It meanders into a field by a cemetery Wide smooth and deep. Then it disappears into a marsh. Where it goes from there will require further adventure. I feel something cold and wet on my cheek. Four red eyes are very close to my face. My pals woke me from my dream. I fell asleep under the willow tree with the two wolves.
