When it comes to things which are beyond your control, it is best to simply accept them as they are and then decide how you can best use them, or work around them, to your advantage.
No matter how much you would like for those things to be different, worrying about them won’t change anything. Wishing that those things were different, or worrying about them, only adds stress to your life. This doesn’t change anything or make anything better; but in reality, it makes your life worse.
Worrying about the way things are, or wishing that things could be different, never improves your situation. There are things in this world that you have the power to change for the better, and there are things you can do nothing about. To have peace in your life, you must be able to discern the difference between the two, controlling what you can control and accepting those things which you can’t control.
If something is not how you would like it to be, and you have some control over it, then take action to change it. When you have the power to make things in your life better, then you should absolutely step up, take that responsibility, and make the specific changes that will improve your life.
On the other hand, there are many things which you have no control over. By accepting these things as they are, you can let go of any worry, stress, or negative emotions connected to those things. No matter how much you worry about those things, stress over them, or want them to be different, you simply can’t change them. These are the things which you must accept as they are.
