Dreams are the thing
That makes me insane
They come from within
Like a sin
They speak to me
But dreams come with a fee
They show you stuff
They do not bluff
They can kill
Your mind will fill
Those who do not sleep
Sane they will keep
But those like me
Who cannot see
The difference between dreams and the real world
Let you be warned
Don't fall for the trick
Dreams lay out like bricks
Or you will fall
Once and for all
Life is like a flame
One you can't tame
It flickers with rage
As the heat will engage
It spikes up in excitement
It crackles with torment
It settles down
When it wear a frown
It glows brightly
When happy
It casts a shadow
When it sees a foe
When it sees the one it dispises
The smoke rises
When it dies out
You know your time is out
The wax you leave behind
Are memories for someone else to find
Life is like a flame
One you can't tame
