I got a soldering station now. I tried to fix a guitar, and almost got it working. That I made for a friend out of two different guitars of a similar design. And I made progress but the connection seems poor. I I did get sound through it. When I hooked it up to my 4x12 speaker cabinet. And 10 watt amplifier as well. Sooo I suspect the cavity for the input that I already soldered sits inside is pushing against front of the input jack. So I may have to drill or file out the wooden guitar cavity. For the part sits in when it's all assembled. It also seems I need to use a higher heat setting or some solder flux paste. Or maybe just tin the wires before I solder them like, I do my soldering tip before. I use it, to prevent oxidation that may cause a poor heat transfer on the soldering tip. And then adjust the pickups and maybe start all over, and check the volume pots. If that doesn't correct the connection issues, Since I notice the neck pickup isn't getting a signal but the other two are.
You know that feeling you get when you walk alone on the streets late at night. So you look behind you. And then I remember that I'm the psychopath. And there's no one behind me.
I went and bought some Medical cannabis yesterday. To beat the 4/20 crowd I went to my usual spot ordered it online. And they had it ready when I arrived. The product listed said Lilac diesel "popcorn flower" for a discounted price. The packaging said "small little flower nuggets". And when I opened it. It was full of these ridiculously huge chonker nuggets. I can't really say this is false advertising because it seems like someone at the Cannabis factory, was purposely doing something wrong but omfg keep doing it.
I've been diagnosing connection issues in my multi channel guitar amplifier. After bringing it back to like with a multimeter while checking for resistance and continuity. After not get a solid connection and having the 120 watt 2x12 beast in storage. I got the issue isolated to the guitar input and hand tightened it. It might be time for a new input cable. Or a little soldering for a better connection.
