I had another weird dream last night.



I was looking after a fish for a friend. It lived in a perfectly spherical fish tank, so you could roll it around, with blue water and 2 weeds in it.



When I wasn't looking, someone snuck in and put 2 miniature sharks into the fish tank. The fish I was looking after was bigger than the 2 sharks, but they would harrass it and nibble at it.



Eventually after much trial and tribulation I managed to get the 2 little sharks out of the fish tank. All was good, and no one would ever know.



Then the owner of the fish came home, took one look at his fish, and said, who put sharks in there with my fish???



I said, how did you know there were sharks in there?



And he said, because they bit his feet off!!!









...and then I woke up...

Nearly the end of June. Only 1 month to go. Wheee!!!



I picked up my tickets yesterday. Flying from here on the 30th, one night stopover in Seoul, then to LA the next day, then from LA to Salt Lake City, then from there to New Orleans arriving on the 31st at 9pm. Then straight to the hotel to recover from 2 day's flying... lol.



I still haven't got all my time booked while I'm over there, and some of my plans have just fallen into doubt, so I have a fair chunk of free time that I'm looking to fill. So if anyone wants to meet up somewhere give me a yell! Bearing in mind that getting to the west coast may be difficult for me unless I can find cheap flights or other means of relatively quick transportation...



My costume for the meetup is well underway, I have a final fitting tomorrow probably. Whee! Oh and I have to buy a mask. Can't forget that.

i guess we have friendly bus drivers lol. they're usually pretty cheery and i always try to say "good morning" to them. of course then you get the ones having bad days, lol...

I had the most fabulous dream last night. It was all about witches living in amongst normal people. Of course, me being me, it quickly degenerated into sex, but that was good too! Lol.



I wish I had a way of recording my dreams. They'd make fabulous movies or novels. Maybe I can go dream it again tomorrow night, hehe.

14 days left at work (including today)



43 days left til i fly out







... i need to make some more definite plans ... don't like being so up in the air about where i am when i'm in another country. makes me feel all types of insecure.



i'm just wishing that people i know weren't so spread out all over the place, lol. i mean, i'm going from pittsburgh to pheonix! congregate people!!!

So this morning, due to a comedy of errors involving my mother, an iron, and a tripped fuse, I managed to wake up at 4.05am instead of 5.30. And of course, it's impossible to go back to sleep again after that.



So here I am now thinking that today is going to be a very long day indeed. Apart from work, in which I'm conducting staff reviews all day, I also have D&D tonight.



So my day today will be 4am to 11pm.





...yeah...

So today we had a game of Vampire: The Masquerade, which I'm STing.



Lately I've been getting a bit disenchanted with the whole running a game thing. Possibly something to do with the fact that I will be overseas in 1 month, 2 weeks and 6 days. Eh.



Anyways today I set out to kill my players off.



I had them go up against a Sabbat pack, and because I know that my players have issues with working together (ie. they don't. At all. Ever.) I knew that it should be an amusing task to take them all out.



Sabbat pack consisted of a Malk, a Lasombra, an Assamite anti, 2 Torrie anties, and 2 Tzimisce. The majority of a lower generation than my players. They're actually ex PC's from a previous game I played with so not only were they optimised, but I also knew how to play them and how they worked. I could make them work together to take down their foes.



And I pretty much succeeded. I had 2 players incapacitated, 2 down to crippled, 1 wounded and 1 not damaged. Then, for some unknown reason, I took pity on them, and let them live.



I have no idea why. I was pissed off at them, and the world, plus the game's going no where, and they can't work together to save their unlives. What's the point???



For example, I have one particular player who insists of questioning, rubbishing, and/or poking holes into my storyline, characters, settings, etc. (We're set in Anarch LA current day, just so you know.)



It really, REALLY, pisses me off. If you're that determined to rubbish what I'm doing for the game, why the hell do you bother to play??



*shrugs* anyways. They survived. I gave them XP. I have one more game, maybe 2 with them. They're not gonna complete their mission, so if the Sabbat pack doesn't get them, their elders will. Either way, they die.

Internet woes appear to be fixed... tech is still coming out though just in case.

In case you are wondering where I am/have been, I currently have no internet access at home due to storm activity in the last week. Hopefully that'll be getting resolved soon. I'm at work right now sneaking on so I better be off before I get in trouble and they fire me.

Went to see the new Indiana Jones movie last night with the D&D group (and mum). Was a good bit of fun =) Don't go if you're expecting something serious, deep and/or meaningful. Indy films aren't like that.



Though I had to roll my eyes at the "space within spaces" comment... puhhhlease.
