If you live in the US, odds are that you will meet around 15 murderers in your lifetime. More if you are less than law-abiding. Serial murderers are incredibly rare, but according to the FBI there are between thirty and fifty currently at large, each responsible for about 3 deaths a year. From Alaska to Hawaii, Anaheim to Miami to Providence, they are scattered wide. Aside from these are passion-killers, black widows, organized criminals, and bungling burglars who largely go uncaptured. Murder is committed by about three percent of American civilians, so if you know one hundred people then you likely know around 3 murderers who got away with it. Is that not exciting? Now look around you at your friends and family. I wonder, can you tell which of them are killers?
Before I begin, let me provide some background. I am a former member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a former priest of the Hadetic Order, a member of the OTO, and a priest in my own right and by ordination. The following can be considered a public service announcement, and is laid forth from a standpoint of both a scientist and a rabid pursuer of the occult.
Rituals are something useful to homo sapiens. From infancy, the human species has had rituals. One member of a group would yawn, for instance, and the rest would yawn and then they all went to sleep. Humans are very prone to them. From the morning ritual of eating breakfast and brushing your teeth, to the esoteric rituals of religious cults, to the homicidal rituals of serial murserers, rituals are everywhere in the world. Some are helpful routines, some are a waste of energy, and some are very harmful. There has been much talk of the latter sort I've come across these past few days. Particularly, rituals to turn a human being into a vampire. No such ritual exists. Let that be plainly said. Now, the real danger of them is in the people who claim that there are, indeed, such rituals. No person will ever tell you that they can turn you into a vampire unless they want something from you. Roderick Ferrell is a good example of this, having headed a vampire cult wherein he was one of only two men for the purposes of recieving adorations and sexual favours from vulnerable young girls. Sexual favours being part of the ritual he proposed to them. So it must be made clear: there are no rituals to make you into a vampire. Either you are or you are not, but if you desire to be then the odds are that you already are and need only realize what that rising hunger within you is. Further, no ritual of any sort will ever make you physically immortal. Everything that lives will invariably die. Sometimes more than once, but never not at all. That, unfortunately, is how it stands.

The best thing to say of Anton is that he was at least honest in his intentions. Using Satan rather than, say, Set in order to utilize the power of invoking the name Satan in a time when that was the edgiest thing one could do. There is some ethical value to the Commands of the Earth and some sense in the Satanic Statements and validity to the self-destructive nature of the Satanic Sins; however the rest of the Satanic Bible is rambling, pretentious garbage. The Church of Satan bowed to the sociopolitical climate of its day in including abarations of indulging in drug use and many notes on "responsibility" are there only for public approval. As a religion, the COS has become little more than a catholic inversion: idolatry rather than submission and so many rules lain upon adherents. Nearly fifty years later, the only reason to join the church is for the edge-credits of producing one's red card and declaring "I am a Satanist" while not really adhering to any aspect of conventional or LaVeyan Satanism. The selfishness proported by the COS is detrimental to the development of a rational and cooperative society, indeed Anton said himself that his brand of Satanism (a brand in the same regard that McDonald's is a brand) is nothing more than an esoteric twist on the philosophy of Ayn Rand. Ayn Rand being a fascist sympathizer and generally deplorable person, he seems even to share her half-baked writing style. As far as scams go, the COS is not a bad one. But it is still a scam, to draw in those who want to feel special without doing anything but throwing money at a stranger. In this regard it is no different from christianity. It is interesting to note that it is unlikely to nearly the point of impossibility you will ever meet a COS member who either adheres to the teachings of their own church or makes a suitable dinner guest. Lump them in the pot with the catholics, and let it simmer until the screaming stops.
What sort of all-knowing being must test what will happen? Would "The Allknowing" not know Abraham would be willing to slaughter his son? Would he not know that Job would remain a sycophant despite any horrors inflicted upon him? If not, then ya-had-veh could not be all-knowing. If so, then why would it inflict such horrors upon the innocent? And what of evil? Rape, murder, and pedophilia happen in churches throughout history with such frequency that they are the only universal stereotypes of christianity. Did "The Divine" not know? Or did he not have the power to intervene? If not, why call it God? And if it possesses such power and knowledge, why then did it not stop these horrible crimes? Either God is a lie, or it is the embodiment of utter evil. All understanding of the physical world points to the former case, but to those who have faith it must mean the latter. And should not the faithful be judged by the character of their vile deity? I should think so.

God isn't real, he was simply made up by the church, to control and keep people in line, People are midless sheep, and will believe anything.
God was not invented by the church. Ya-had-veh was worshipped for more than 3000 years before the cult of christianity was founded. But quite right, there is nothing in any way to suggest that it is real. My thoughts here are that it is idolatry to a seeded evil inherent in the minds of vicious fools.
