I got up pretty early this morning and enjoyed my vanilla flavored coffee while finishing the Two of Cups tarot card. As I was considering images to use for this card...I had an idea for it all along. I wanted to use a gay couple for this one. Once I went over the general meaning for this card (even reversed) it was clear that it would be very modern. When I told my friend Lance about my idea for this card, he flipped out. He LOVED the idea...and told me I had to use it lol.

I'm glad I did. ;)

Honestly this card is totally awesome. I could be way off on this but the red hue seems to signify the battle for gay rights. I really love how this came out. I can't wait to see the next one. I'm so excited to see this card.

Fiz, you're not off on the coloring concept. I wanted hues of light pinks with deep purples on the red. Red of course...for passionate love. :)

This one was another interesting project. On a cold rainy day a few days back...Fiz sent me an image to my email. It was a tarot card that he made. The ace of cups. I loved it. Still...I wanted to make it darker for my deck. This is the finished image. He made the world within the cup. I friggin' love it lol. Thank you so much for all of your help in this deck Fizbop. You really are one hell of an artist!

I take it back...THIS card was the hardest one to do so far. Again, the coloring was a pain in the ass for me. I want to thank Fizbop for capturing the modern look I was going for. By the way dude, you really pulled off that gothic look I wanted. Looks friggin' awesome!

I loved the color on this mostly because it brings out my features. I really love this picture and really love the coloring that you were able to pull out of it. I'm glad I could help make the deck. This is one of your best. Always looking forward to your next card. This was absolutely amazing.

I finally finished the nine of wands card. I am one card away from finishing the wands suit! This card was another pain in the ass to create. When I began, I thought it was going to be so easy...but that just wasn't the case at all. It took me day after day to complete this one. Though it was a huge challenge to pull off, I'm very pleased that it came out this way. All of my cards have a very vibrant color to them but the one color I didn't use yet was my favorite color besides black...and that color is pink. Though this card was a pain in the ass to make...I was all smiles when I finally brought it to life. I'm beyond happy that I finished it. Again, it wasn't easy at all but I hope the finished product looks good.

This second image is a collaboration of my work and Fizbop's work. We decided to play a little game I like to call 'Art Off." This is how it's played...

Somebody chooses a plain image and uses the art program of their choice. That person will play with the image for a little bit until they are stumped. They then send it to their friend and from then on...that person does the same and sends it back to their email that way. On and on this goes until both artists agree that they are finished with the image. It's a really great game that I love to play. Plus...it's almost always a challenge lol. Fiz is (and always has been) one of the greatest artists I have come across. His use of texture amazes me along with his coloring techniques. He really challenged me with this one. I LOVE how the finished image looks! I look foward to making more art with him. He really knows his stuff!!! Thanks for the awesome art challenge Fiz! I had a great time making this and you're a truly talented artist!
