Trying to treat my ass a little kinder by shrinking it exponentially.
It's been a fucking mission and a half thus far.
Five months to go...

As the pirates say, it's all about the booty.
Although I think they refer to treasure...
You look awesome! Nice booty ;)
As a white girl, a southern white girl, I proudly say:
I gots more boootttyy than you.
I would come and kick your ass because you think it is big. But then... I might have problems finding the said ass to kick.
You are a beauty.
It's interesting how thoughts will formulate into my mind mid-workout --genius ideas ripe with luster -- but dissipate as soon as I shift focus. It's in those grueling moments that I find clarity. Through blurred vision, sweaty determination, and a steadfast resolve, my mind maneuvers its way into zen. I never knew that such physical exertions could bring about the most amazing of epiphanies. It does sadden me, however, that these intellectual mirages are as evanescent as they are enlightening.
I used to subscribe to the " self-discovery is found in stillness" school of thought. I guess it's safe to say that in many ways I still believe that notion, but there is a special type of magic that happens when I struggle to catch my breath. Self-preservation heightens and my mind drifts off into the most hypnotizing of mental-microcosms in a very successful effort to shy away from the noxious thoughts that often plague my mind when I'm pushing myself to my very limit.
I'm slowly learning to eradicate words like "can't" from my thought process and exchange them for actions -- the kind of actions that breed the most addicting of cyclical positive convictions .
After all, we all know that "doing" is so much more important than "saying".

I love when that happens.
I get that, totally.
I love your way with words.
^^ :) ANd ♥
I am of the mindset that stillness is a state of perception. You might be grueling up a sweat but your mind reaches a focused clarity that results in wonderful blossoming ideas mid-workout. The gym isn't just for physical tuning; I am sure it is for some. But I personally find that it re-balances me psychologically too.
