The wind blew her golden hair softly in her face as her hazel eyes slid down crystal tears. She stood there on a hill top watching him as he left her side. She held her hands to her heart as the wind still blew in her face. “Please…Please Cameron…Please come back to me.” She whispered softly to herself.
Cameron was a dragon demon who lived on a far side edge town that was close to Angels. He had gone off to fight the rights to love her. His love for her is forbidden for he is a demon and she is half breed. Now he is gone. Far away from Angel and will try them love.
It was been a few days now and Angel was worried sick. She thinks that he is never coming back, that she will never see him again. Those thoughts made her about cry. “Please, please you promised me you would come back.” Angel just prays that her love will return alive.
“Please don’t cry my angel.” Cameron says as he whips the tears from Angel’s face. “I would hate to see you cry.” She smiles slightly but just couldn’t stop crying. “I love you Cameron.” She spoke so softly. His expression so serious but so full of love he held her chin. “I love you too.” He embraces her in his arms not wanting to let go. “Please come back for me.” Angel whispered to him. He smiles and spoke back. “I promise to return to you.” He picks up her chin and kisses her lightly. “I have to go now my love. Now please. Wait for me!” Cameron yells as he let his coal black dragon wings take flight.
Angel stood there watching him leave. She couldn’t bare to see him away from her side. She said so softly and choked out with sorrow. “Goodbye…Cameron…”
A shake came too. Angel was thrown out of a daze to see her mother. “Angel is everything okay?” Angel starts to whip off the tears that had secretly fallen. She choked out to her mother hiding the sadness she smiles. “Y-Yes, I’m fine. Never better.” Raine wasn’t stupid enough to believe her. “Angel, baby what’s wrong? You know you can tell me anything.” Angel couldn’t help but start to cry. “Why can’t I freely love him mom!? Why does Cameron have to leave me?” Raine embraced her daughter as the tears fell from her eyes. Her mother didn’t know what to do.
Later that night a letter came threw Angel’s window. Angel was stunned. She quickly looks to see who it was from…Cameron. She rips the letter open to see what it said. But the news was only getting worse.
“My dearest Love, I am trying my hardest to make our love work. But the fights are getting harder and harder to hold. If I don’t make it home, always remember my Angel, I love you. I must go and fight once again for you my princess. I shall forever hold you in my thoughts. Your dearest love, Cameron.”
Angel held the letter close to her heart and didn’t know either to cry or stay there in a gaze. To read the words “If I don’t” hurts and hits hard. Angel sat there all night. Her mind running crazy with questions and trying to look for the answers.
It was been a year now and Sir. Cameron was still not home. Angel hasn’t yet moved on. For every night she got a letter from him and she couldn’t wait for his arrival. He told her he was coming home soon and she was more than ready to see him. Only thing is what’s coming with him.
It was September 23 now and Angel had now just turned 19. That was the day Cameron promised to return in the letters. Angel waited by the hill as she promised she would. Standing there as the fall breeze blew threw her hair she waited.
In the far distance you could see a dark winged angel almost flying towards her. Her eyes filled with joy to see Cameron flying towards her. She stand up now smiling with joy but something was wrong. Demons, hundreds of demons flying after him. Angel’s eyes filled with fright. Cameron tried to fly away from her. But the demons made him fall to his knees in front of her.
Angel was struck in fear and was about to run but demons grabbed her arms. Angel screams as men tighten their grips on her. Cameron shouted. “Let her go!!” The demons laughed wickedly. They put swords and knifes to her throat. Angel starts to panic as Cameron starts to cry. “Please!! Don’t hurt her I beg of you!!” The demons look back at Cameron who looked so mad but crying. “Please! Leave Angel alone! I’ll do anything!!”
Silence….Silence came over the demons. The chief of the pack walks to Cameron. “This girl…Is important to you?” Cameron nods. “Yes, I would protect her with my life! Just please! Don’t hurt her.” The demons almost gashed her. “NO!!” He almost breaks threw the chains the demons laid upon him. “Don’t hurt her!!” The chief was amazed at his anger and love towards the girl. “Let him go.” The demons were amazed. “But…?” “Let him go! Do as I say!!” The chief commanded. The demons freed Cameron.
Cameron got up and pushed threw the demons but Angel was pulled away. Cameron with ruby red eyes pierced into the chief’s eyes. “What are you gonna do with her?!” The chief smiles. “I’ll make a deal with you…” Cameron looks at him more furious. “What’s the deal?!” Cameron growled. “You… Give us her strength and we shall let her go.” Cameron growls more. “Never!!” The chief smiles. “Kill her.” Angel screams as so did Cameron. “No!! Okay! Okay!” Cameron looks at Angel. “Take my powers as long as it means being with you!” Angel explained. Cameron nods as he takes her powers and hands it to the demons. The smile and freed Angel. “It’s been a pleasure.” The chief demon said as the demons all vanished.
Cameron quickly ran to Angel and hugs her tight. “Are you alright?!” Angel smiles as she looks up at him. “Yes, I am fine.” Cameron quickly embraced her as the hugged together for the longest time.
Moments of silence past as they still lay in each others arms. “I love you so much.” Angel smiles. “I love you too Angel.” Cameron held her close. “I promise to protect you forever.” Cameron finished. She smiles warmly as she nods as she lays in his arms.
