The spilling of unholy blood, brings cleansing...
And with cleansing, comes the new wave of desecration
Do you see it in the eyes of innocent babies?
The next gen defilers of everything held sacred.
Its a constant battle to keep our churches upheld.
Some might even say they've already fell.
Upheaval is our mortal enemy, as humans.
Dignity stripped away, exposing blackened bones,
and rotted guts full of smoke and ash.
You had your try, you had your chance.
Now bow your head as the exalted evil crosses your path.
Your filth doesn't belong here, you're stuck in the past.
Flags flown in memory of you, at half mast.
You're alive, but dead inside.
Just like the rest of your generation, bloodied and fallen.
The new age messiahs have ascended to their true calling.
And left all you have, in dust, set ablaze.
Blackened homes, rotted huts smoldered in smoke and ash.
Cleansing shall come again, only to release a darker force. Resistance is futile, and shall never accomplish anything more than a moment's peace. Cease fire on the evil you see and feel, learn to adapt, and save your future...for it will only get worse.
(A malignant smile spreads like disease,
across the face I try to appease
Vile, filthy windows to your soul
Caked with blood, stark bullet holes
Consistency I once knew and loved I've started to despise,
So I offer this to you...my little compromise...)
A curved line, streaking to your cheeks
My fingers on your lips, searching for the crease
I'll take back the heart you stole
Inverted puppet, under my control
(Asphyxiated by the remorse and my hand shoved down your throat,
I've fed your words right back to you and now you start to choke.)
Poetry in motion, isn't it beautiful how the blood flows.
After I grip, then rip your heart from where it goes.
The heartless has no heart now, this for sure I know
I'll place it on my mantle, just for looks and show
(Your control was short-lived, your smile a mortal pain-
No longer does it sting me, now you're tainted by disdain.)
You've seen it with your very eyes
This was my little compromise
*this was written by myself and Kryptick, her stanzas have parenthesis around them, mine don't*
