The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Seems like a lifetime since I have logged on to VR.

Last time I was on I was going through nursing school. It was the beginning of a journey.

I am happy to report, as most of you know, I have already finished school and I am currently working as an RN.

The hardest year of my life, I should say. Hardest thing I have ever gone through. But I got through it.

Currently I am trying to move up to Minnesota, with my boyfriend. Been together about almost 2 years now. Its pretty serious. I'd say he's the ONE ;)

He's been my support and rock throughout this adventure, not one time has he given up on me. His family is amazing. They have welcomed me with open arms. Treated me like one of their own.

Long distance is hard, but we are getting through it. I don't just want to get up and leave without a plan, so slowly but surely is the way to go.

My job is crazy here in Miami. Started to do doubles to complete 80 hr pay periods, so 16 hr shifts are being done. Its super hard, but doable, and despite the rough hours and exhaustion, I love my job and everything it entails, despite the hardships and sometimes rough patients. I love it all.

I have also started on a weight loss journey. Before nursing school I was on my way to getting lean and I was on a good weight at the time. But the stress of nursing school coupled with the endless hours of study time weren't very good for my waistline. I gained about 30-40 lbs. Total about 213lbs. Sure, I'm tall. You can't really tell unless you see me naked lol.

I have become a Herbalife distributor and gotten a gym membership with a trainer. Between work's endless hours (hardly time to eat/take break/leaving late) and training, I have lost about 15 lbs in about roughly 2 weeks. But thanks to Herbalife I am keeping up with nutrition and as energetic as possible.

Minnesota is cold. I use to live close to there. I don't think you'll like it. Once you've lived in tropical conditions (okay, Florida is more sub-tropical) it's hard to give it up.

The people are okay but it's a different kind of living. I was last there in 2014. I flew into Duluth, Minnesota before driving over into Michigan's upper peninsula (where I use to live and still have friends and family).
