We got a call not too long ago...Joey passed away.

I'm at a loss of words....We did everything we could to save him and I still feel like a freaking failure with this. Yes, we still have two other ferrets, but this was our first male ferret and we were so happy to have him....I just wish they had caught this sooner to be honest and I wish I had as well...ugh....I feel so bad that he is gone. I cried for a good hour over the little one as well.

I try to keep a different persona on some of my accounts...but this is from my Sire account....


So, work is work as usual...Nothing to really say about it, but the insane amount of students we have been getting.


So as most of you know, one of our ferrets has been sick. Well, what we thought was blood in his stool, turned out to be a stomach ulcer and it began bleeding out. I am so thankful that I caught it though. Yesterday was definitely a anxiety filled day after work. What I though was just Joey being cuddly, was him actually not feeling good. We ended up taking him to the vet last night. My husband and I were so worried we were going to lose this little boy due to the bleed out. I seriously didn't wanna really go and do anything after the vet last night. He ended up needing a blood transfusion, and that is where Freya and Suki came into play as well. We took them to the vet so they could get the blood from them and give it to Joey. Freya was high off of the anesthesia and Suki was just straight out knocked out from it. Now...for the update though, which is in good favor!


Update on our jojo bug
Vet just called.
She said he is still a little weak,but it a bit brighter today. They're gonna start some new meds and force feeding him today. The vet said if all goes well today/overnight, we could end up taking him home tomorrow


This right here, ahhh! When the vet called, I felt my heart drop, but when she said the above, I was literally happy and relieved that he had survived through the night as well! I can't wait to see him and hold him again though. I miss my little boy so much!

So as of lately, I have been under my main account, which is my sire. Oops. I literally forget that I have other accounts sometimes. Anyways. Well....more updates to say the least....This past week has been pretty amazing at work and I have managed to remain in a good mood as well. 3 Things happened at work this week.

1. My managers praised me, which caught me off guard and sent me into tears of happiness.

2. I was gifted my own knife set for work

3. I got a raise!

This week has literally been the best so far!!!
