I used to write poems on a daily basis. They were usally inspired from pain, either things that actually happened or things that would be painfull if they did happen. There was one poem that stands out in them, it wasnt my favorite, but it seemed to be everyone elses. It was read by my english teacher in 7th and again in 8th grade. And i had it published in an anthology.
Can You Hear Me?
Can you hear me?
I am lonely.
I want to talk.
Can you hear me?
I have been here,
Been here, lonely, for a long time.
Can you hear me?
I want to talk to a real person.
I want someone to understand.
Can you hear me?
I guess not,
Because you left.
You left me here all alone,
Back where I started.
Can you hear me?
