The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

It was a cold winter night and the city was in a hustle with it being cold and Christmas drawing near, but that wasn’t the case for the night life, clubs were packed with people partying like it was every other day to them. Tonight was different though, because three girls which were friends were all out partying because they had just graduated college together. They were so happy to have been able to start and finish together because that’s the way they had been in school.



“ I can’t believe we are finally through with college, it seemed like we were never going to finish” Natasha said to Corrie and Ashley. The other two girls nodded in agreement.



“ Its cold outside” Corrie stated checking her watch, it was 1:30am and the girls had promised to be back by 12 “Oh shit!”



“What’s the matter with you Corrie?” Ashley asked quizzically



“Its past 12 and we promised to be back at 12" Corrie said hastily



“Stop being such a tight ass, Corrie. You’re always worried about obeying your parents, you’re not a kid anymore.” Natasha said



“Yea but...” before Corrie could finish Natasha interrupted her “Alright, I’ll make a deal with you. We stay enjoy a few more drinks then we’ll be on our way. Ok?” Corrie thought for a few minutes before finally saying “Ok”



the girls stayed and enjoyed a few more drinks more than they should have had because all three of them had a good buzz by now.



“Ok, I think we should be going now” Ashley said with slurred words



"I think you're right Ashley" Corrie said then Natasha piped in "We really over did it, didn't we?" then all three of the girls busted out laughing at the remark. Altogether they stood up dizzily, stood there for a moment to catch their balence. Afterwards they picked up their coats and stumbled towards the door.



Once they managed to get to the door, Natasha opened it, while Corrie and Ashley stumbled out of the club with Natasha following right behind. The door slammed shut and made the girls jump. It was eerily quiet outside of the club. The girls quickly bundled up and put their cuts on, and started walking towards Corries' house, because thats where they were all staying. The girls shuddered in the cold and huddles closer together as they walked along the side-walk



"Its gotten colder out here since we first came out" Natasha said

"Yes, you're right and its no help that its so dark even with the street lights" Ashley said as tehy continued walking. Corrie hadn't said a word since they had left, then suddenly in a hushed whisper she asked



"Did you hear that?"

"Hear what Corrie?" Ashley asked

"That low sound, that happened just now. It sounded like a low screaming"

"You didn't hear anything, because if you did, then we all would have heard is" Natasha stated "your imagination is just playing tricks on you girl."

"Yes, you're probably right Natasha. I guess that it being dark and foggy out here spurred my imagination to life" Corrie said, but she still had an uneasy feeling about the sound.



The other two girls hadn't even noticed the fog until Corrie had mentioned it.

"When did the fog come in?" Natasha asked a little spooked now, then all of a sudden a horrifying scream came out "AHHHHHH!!!!!" the scream erupted from right beside them. They all stopped in cold blooded terror, and peered into the darkness of the alleyway.



Sounds erupted forth from the alleyway once again, this time is was mixed with that of the screams and scratching. The scream yelled out once again, the girls continued to peer into the alley, still unable to see anything, then Ashley spoke up softly



"Do you think anyone is hurt? Should we go check?"

"Are you crazy!?" Corried said "I'm not going in there."



Natasha stood there quietly staring into the alley, she seemed to be drawn to whatever was in there and she started forward and Corrie grabbed her arm, but Natasha shrugged it away and continued forward, and Ashley wasn't going to let her go in there by herself, so she followed in behind Natasha, thus leaving Corrie behind.



"Hey you guys wait up" Corrie said hurridly as she trotted to cath up with them. The three girls continued further into the alley, their eyes adjusting to the dark. They stopped, listening to the sounds coming from just in front of them. Just then a young girl stumbled from teh emptuness, blood pouring down her body "Help me" she said.



The girls didn't get to actually see her very good, before something snatched her back into the emptiness. A quick loud sound echoed forth Snap!!! The sound of breaking bones rang through the girls ears. Now they regretted coming into the alley, they turned to run back towards the road but that unknown thing came in chase, and it was gaining on them quickly, but as they ran Natasha tripped over something and fell, hitting the ground hard, temporarily rendering her of her consciousness.



The other two girls turned to help but it was useless, so they left her. The thing was getting really close, Ashley squinted down to find anything to use as a weapon. She stopped as seen a pole, she picked it up as the thing came into view, yet it wasn't a thing at all, yet it was a handsome young man with blood dripping from his chin, he stopped as he saw her. Ashley swung the pole down at him, but he moved away quickly, thus making her miss. She swung the pole at him again, but instead of moving he grabbed the pole with one hand and snatched it away from her. Ashley turned to run with Corrie at the entrance of the alley screaming at her to hurry. Unfortunately she wasn't nearly fast enough, the young man grabbed her, pulling her back, and violently sunk his teeth into her neck. His fangs piercing the skin and blood swelled forth to the surface, and out of the wound. The young man began to suck slowly on Ashley's neck, the blood pouring over his lips and down his throat, Ashley couldn't do much of anything all she knew was that what he was doing felt wonderful though she knew it wasn't going to be that way in the end.



Corrie stood there in shock at what she was seeing, so shocked she couldn't move, the young man finished Ashley off and tossed her away like a rag doll. He stared at Corrie with a glint in his eyes, Corrie started to step forward going to the young man, he had her in a trance. She continued to walk towards him, Natasha had gained her consciousness back right before Ashley was disposed of. She watched in terror as Corrie trudged towards him. Corrie was in his reaching distance now. Suddenly sirens rang out fomr the streets, shattering the silence and alarming the man. He grabbed Corrie just as two cop cars skidded to a halt in front of the alley, Natasha lost her consciousness from the blow she took to the head when she tripped, but in vague images she remembered seeing the man jump to the rooftops with Corrie in his arms and fleeing the scene, and two cops running towards he screaming call back up and an ambulance, there is a survivor.........to be continued,
