{So I had this great idea to create a story for my journal presented in the form of a scenero game.
I wanted to create a random story, but thought it would be cool if I got other VR members in on it with their own creative input.
I also came up with a fun way to turn it into something of a scenero game where you can choose an option; an action to take listed from 3 different choices by each new posting member, who answered with their decision, for the character to perform.
Then they would continue the story with your own new sentence and 3 more courses of action for the next poster to choose from to further the story.
* The full story then would be put together and updated here for anyone to come and read. This forum thread can be found in the Sandbox section.
* You may also comment here to help further the story. Thank you!}

Chapter 1
In the back corner of the small dusty room, lay a lone black cat. It stared up at me and hissed a threat. The poor thing must be alone and afraid, I thought. I dug into my pocket for a piece of left over jerky. I knelt down and proceeded to coax it closer.
It's bright golden eyes beamed at me fiercely. I inched closer despite its low growls of warning. As I anchored myself above the cat, half eaten meat stick out stretched, its fur stood on end and its paws braced the scuffed wooden floor in preperation for a fight or flight reaction. The cat sniffed me cautiously as it creeped toward the food. Admiring its beauty, I thought, if I could help this little guy, it would certainly make a great companion in this barren place.
I lay the piece of jerky at its feet. While it nibbles the meat timidly, I lightly stroke along its back. The cat flinches at my touch, but does not retreat. Just then, a wailing screech echoed through the halls. The cat bolts out of the little old room. I couldn't tell if the sound was a scream or just a strange noise. I step out and peer into the twin dark corridors looking for either the frightened cat or source of the sound. I find neither.
I aim my flashlight down each dark and gloomy direction. It flashes and fades as it begins to die. I'm going to need to leave soon if I plan on finding my way out.
a) So I head down the right corridor, where I think I came from. I've gotten so turned around in this winding place, I can't remember.
b) I begin to walk down the left corridor. It's creepy and the walls are falling apart, but I think I see a light coming from a far room.
c) Thinking that running around in the dark, alone with ghostly noises, is how stupid people in scary movies die, I decide to stay put and go back into the room to look for something I could use.
