Wow... muh body hurts.
Busy day at work- busy with crew, and I am sore from last night's work out. Add that the endorphines kept me up till 1am and then I got up at 4:30am... I am one tired girl.
Today was "recovery" day so just 35 min on treadmill with total miles of 2.73 with lots of stretching. Tonight- Hot bath is in order. I'm already wanting zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I have been neglecting this part of my journal- not because I haven’t been working out, but because during the summer most of my workouts were on the bike and I don’t have any measurements for that.
This last week I’ve been running most days between 25 and 30 min with 5 min cool down. Yesterday I completed 2.82 miles in 35 min, plus did a work out at www.welovelaunch.com for an hour. It was their advanced boot camp that was a combination of Plyometrics and Isometrics. Kicked my butt, as I hurt today moving. Good hurt mind you- but tomorrow is going to KILL.
Right now I’m back on track for training for the marathon. Once funds clear I’m going to be riding indoors on my new bike and also focusing on the mileage for the marathon. If things continue to improve I’ll also be doing more of the Launch workouts as I really like their gym and bonus is that it is only 5 blocks from where I live. Add to that my hot yoga… and I’m going to be pretty busy.
Now I just need to see how my body handles this. Oh for the record,
I’m now at 172 and it is looking like I will be able to loose another 15lbs. So, I’m on a mission, and the prize is a dress for New Year’s Eve, not to forget the ability to do the Triathlon this spring!
