I remeber as a kid we use to celebrate the holidays ast my grandparents and it use to be a three day afair. later on it was at one of my uncles cause they had a pool. those days were carefree and no one worried if they pressies was some homemade fudge. what mattered was spending time with family.



now days it seem the holidays became comircial and the reason for it became forgoten. families dont get together no more and if they do its a mirical if its for 3 hours with out fighting.



what would it take to bring the family element back into the holidays? in time when they passed on its to late to say "if only"

I know what you mean... the christmas of 2009, i was not even around anyone and made one phone call at christmas. I got no phone calls. but then that's what i get for not asking someone to pick me up lol.

this year we spent it with my stepfather's family, and my mother was convinced to let my husband come along...
