Moncks Corner residents arrested for carjacking



Three Moncks Corner residents were arrested by the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office in connection with a carjacking that occurred about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.



Bryan William Lewis, 27, Eugene Andre Bradford, 22, and Ashley Marie Cumbie, 21, were charged after deputies were called to Snows Lake Landing in the Muddy Creek area of Williamsburg County, according to a sheriff's office incident report.



There, a 26-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both of Hemingway, said the man was struck and knocked unconscious after giving the three suspects a ride. The woman told deputies she tried to get into the Lincoln Navigator he had been driving to get away after he was struck, but she said she was pulled from the vehicle before the three suspects drove off.
