Written Test

On Wednesday I passed my FAA written test. It was easy. I barely studied and I scored 88% (53/60).

They give you two-and-a-half hours to take the test. I was done in 25 minutes. Then I went through it a second time for a total of 40 minutes.

On Tuesday I have my second-to-last major flight test. I'm going up with an FAA examiner (not my regular flight instructor). It's kind of like a pre-test. He'll tell me what I need to work on.

Then it's just a matter of taking my final flight test and I'll be done. The final test will probably be with the same examiner I'm with on Tuesday.. Which is nice, because I'll get a feel for what he'll be emphasizing on my final.

I should be totally done in less than 2 weeks, if all goes according to plan.

Getting done that early was always a little scary. I used to wonder why the long time limit if it took only a small part of it. Congrat's!
