The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I added a Winamp playlist history section to my Profile. It was one of those things that should have taken 5 minutes to set up by took over an hour.



Just under my camera shot is a 10 track music history. It turns on and off with my Winamp application and marks as offline when I am not listening to music.



A lot of people (mostly old Vampire Radio listeners) seem to be interested in what I play, so here it is...

So there is this rumor running around that Squiggy has joined VR. I think it's funny, not Squiggy in particular, but of all the celebrities to choose from the rumor monger chose Squiggy.

Time for another vacation.

A show I adore (and there aren't many) had its series finale this week. HBO has a habit of ending shows before their time, and this was no exception. Six Feet Under ended after 5 seasons.



It was a special 75 minute episode. Through most of it I was thinking, Okay, there's nothing really special about this episode... But they really made up for it in the ending.



The final 5 minutes involved Claire driving away. As she listens to a song, a video montage ensues that shows the upcoming life events and death of each of the show's primary characters. It was very well done and showed both the fragility and complexities of human existence.



I'm going to miss this show.

August is coming to a close. Winter will soon be here.



There are times in a person's life where an individual comes to realize realities exist in their personal circumstance that they preferred did not. Sometimes referred to as a Moment of Clarity, these periods can be traumatic.



A person can be told something a thousand times, but will often fail to listen until the reality is clearly self-evident.



Personal power exists within each of us, and we should not be afraid of change. Rather, we should embrace any action that improves upon our lives. One should remain far-sighted if they expect to achieve the most monumental of goals. Extensive change never occurs overnight.



There is no secret to personal happiness. The answer for each of us is unique and resides within. The Moment of Clarity is essential so that we do not delude ourselves. The most level-headed of persons can convince oneself of the merit of a life path that is destructive. To follow such a path not only hinders the development of the soul, but sets it back, as the soul fails to overcome the challenges put in its path.

The bane of my existence has returned:

It's a damn good thing Daire doesn't have a webcam.
