A 3rd day of April snow...
Today it snowed for the second consecutive day. We're 5 weeks into Spring and still it snows....
There are things I wish to write, but I am unable to at the moment. Too many things are drawing upon me at present.
Well, the levy broke. For the first time since the age of 18 I walked off a job. It wasn't a real walk-off. At least I finished my shift.
The homo prick that likes to play boss finally managed to push the right button. He threatened me. I fail to accept threats. I won't give anyone that kind of power over me. So, I walked out. I went to find the company owner, to tell him I would be leaving. It took a few minutes and I had regained my composure. He asked if I would finish my shift and I agreed.
I worked 3 more hours and managed to avoid him. At the end of the day, I said good bye to everyone but him and headed for my car. He shouted my name and tried to follow. Without breaking stride and still walking away I raised my right hand and flipped him off. He continued pursuit and when I realized he was gaining ground on me I abruptly turned, pointed at him, and said, STOP. He froze. I then turned back around and went to my car.
The fact is, I never needed this job. I initially took it to get out of the house. I stayed because of the medical, dental, and other benefits. I make more money at my other job, even though it is part-time. My part-time employer has been begging me to go back to full-time for several weeks... Now I will. I'll be making a lot more money but the shifts will be long. A short day will be 9 hours. A regular day will be 13.5.
A new girl at work was very sad to see me leave. She gently placed her hand on my arm as I said good bye.
