For Who the Chime Tolls -Cadrewolf

A shadow of a chair,
Sits ominously alone;
A golden beam of light
From a star that glows.
A name, not a name;
No figure to be seen
A memory has been lost;
A brother to you and me
For whom the chimes toll;
It will toll for thee;
With an absent heart,
Maybe a tear you’ll see.
Bells of sorrow
Echo through the room;
Our heads are bowed,
For a prayer that comes soon.
Solemn voices sing out,
A hymn to the heavens;
For at the last chime,
The clock has struck eleven.
For whom the chimes toll,
It will toll for thee;
With an absent heart,
And a soul that weeps.
For the loss of love,
Or a friend so dear
A life long companion,
The laughter of years.
Don’t mourn a loss,
Instead look in your heart;
Remember the laughter,
When friendship did start.
Back through the ages,
Of smiles and tears;
The hills that were climbed;
And the future you feared.
For whom the chimes toll;
It will toll for ME;
With an absent heart,
For I’m only a memory.
Living Hell-Cadrewolf

Late one night
All by myself
I cried tears
Of living Hell.
I wept for sorrow,
I wept of our joy,
I wept for our child
With the broken toy
When I’m lonely
And when I’m scared
I remember
When our hearts were shared.
There was a time
When we were young.
We laughed together,
Cried together...
And all of our fun.
So late one night
When you’re by yourself,
Cry the tears
For my living Hell.
Weep for the sorrow,
Weep for our joy,
Weep for our child
With the broken toy.
And when you’re lonely,
And when you’re scared,
Remember our love
That once we shared.
While I’m by myself,
I cry tears
Of our living Hell.

As I sit under the stars
On this moonless night
I think about my past
And the futures strife
Have I seen the beauty
That has gone and past
And the hate of society
And love that doesn't last
The cold of the night
Chills my old bones
And dreams that once was
Seem to fade into stone
My body is scarred
With troubles in life
Depiction of age
The edge of a knife
Murals of ink laid
Within my skin
Telling stories of past
And where I have been
No one knows the struggles
That each of us face
The things in life
That each of us have faced
Live in the shoes that
You continue to wear
And falter the dreams
That we as child's did share.
Society has grown old
Cranky and so mean
There sometimes no place
For me it does seem
To Live and to love
and always be strong
For a new day will come
To show us where we belong
Maybe it’s time to ride
And follow the sun
For I lived my life
And now the time has come
Illusions-Cadrewolf

Mirrors are just an illusion
Of what we cannot see
Beauty on the inside
That seems to evade thee
Mirrors are just an illusion
A false image to say
Covering the true beauty
That God made his way
Our bodies seen by us
Never seem totally right
Yet to some of the others
It holds such great delight
Visions of a fantasy
On what they wish to hold
Yet can be an illusion
For they are never shown
Pictures are just illusions
And taken without care
For is it only one view
That you wish to share
Pictures of the whole
Given with so much trust
Creates dreams in the night
In which we all do lust.
Life is just an illusion
Seems to be filled with lies
For deep within each of us
We have something to hide
Is it our bodies we see?
That we are so ashamed
Or is it the feelings inside
To numerous to name
Illusions just an art
The beauty on a page
Given out with love
And cherished each day
For when the time has come
And our life has come to pass
Does the illusion of the picture
Hold the moment meant to last
Do we remember the person?
Or the time that was cost
Or is this the illusion…
And the picture becomes lost
