I feel the need so express a thing
A thing of such frailty it is about to break
But none the less must be released to offer to you all
It is a love for all I know,
A love that is fragile yet will surely grow
A love for friends and family, and those have yet to know
Though loneliness consumes me, there it is
Though pain stabs my heart complete
There it is..

What should I do to again stand tall in your sight?
How can I regain your trust?
What did I do to lose your faith?
Is perfection in me a must?
I fall to my knees in grief over so many dreams that have died
I fall to my knees in exhaustion from all of the tears I have cried
I hope that one day yet again, I will find myself anew
Perhaps that day remember who I am and then find again a friend in you.
