I want to try something different here. I am going to tell you a story about a girl and I want you to answer a few questions for me. Her name is of no importance to this but your impressions are.

The questions that need to be answered are the following

1) Can you relate to this girls way of thinking?

2) Is she foolish for living her life the way she does?

3) Regardless to the answer on 2 is her little corner of the world better off for her being in it?

There once was a little girl. She was born to a single woman for whatever reason. She was a joyfull little girl who loved to see other people smile. Her biggest joy was to do good for others and watch them grow from it.

She was by no means selfless or a martyr but in her own way very selfish. Her biggest need was to feel relevant. The way she filled that need was to do good for others.

As she grows up she holds staunchly to her belief that people are, for the most part good and if you give the the opportunity they will rise to the level of your expectations. Ration dictates that she know this is not entirely true but she believes that she is better off for letting that control the way she treats other people. Giving them a full measure of respect until others prove they don't deserve it.

Throughout her childhood she is at differant times molested, raped, beaten and verbally abused but somehow she always bounces back from it without any real sense of resentment or hatred. She does sometimes wonder what she could have done to deserve it but finds a way to go back to being a happy person regardless. Continuing to strive to make others happier and stronger people. She gets married and has children. Everything she puts her hand to she puts her heart into, if it is cleaning her house, raising her kids, planting a garden or writing a poem she pours herself into it as way of showing her family how much she loves and appreciates them. She tries to live out a simple idea, if you want the best then give the best.

She never asks more of a person than she is willing to give them.

She tries to stay in the background, because part of her really wants to be in the spot light. She knows that if that ever happens she will not be the same person she is today and she kind of likes herself finally. She doesn't want to find herself helping people so they will like her but because she wants to do the right thing. Keeping her heart straight is the first and most important thing to her.

Is she that same little girl she was at the age of 8? Yes and no.. she is but a bit more stressed and depressed a bit more often. She still loves as deeply and cares as much, she may be a bit more careful about who she helps and why but the drive is still as strong. She is learning not to run everything by her heart as well and hopes that is a good move.

It is your turn now.. what is your impression of this person and what are the answers to the questions above? When you have the answers message them to me and I will show them to her.
