I am now ploughing my way through my ABRSM Grade 1 book for my exam in June and my Scales and arpeggios book. I can now play the melody for all three of my chosen pieces, the bowing requirements are coming along slowly. It took me a while to figure out slurred bowing, getting there. I have also started to incorporate the dynamics in the pieces as well. I can play the scales and arpeggios for the exam from memory now also and have covered sight reading and the aural section too. Practice makes perfect and I now have 5 months to perfect them.
