There is much truth to that saying... just as there is in "what you don't know, won't hurt you". Of course, I still believe that knowledge is power, so all those adages, sayings, proverbs or whatever you want to call them may or may not apply, depending on circumstances.



I received a postcard today from someone very near and dear to my heart. The message that was written on it contained a bit of information that I was unaware of before today... information that bothered me a lot. Now, I'm left to question certain things about this person and our relationship, as far as loyalties and priorities are concerned. This is a very confusing time for me, and I'm trying very hard to hold myself together for the sake of this other person... and myself. I don't want to make assumptions or jump to conclusions, because I've always felt it best to give the benefit of the doubt, especially to someone you consider at the very least to be a friend. Until I get an opportunity to actually discuss this with the author of the postcard - live and in person, not on the phone - I will do my best to stay focused on future plans and to remain as upbeat about things as I possibly can. Unfortunately, these little bits and pieces of revelation are eating me up inside. I hope I can find the strength to see this through to the end.
